First and foremost point, do NOT fight regarding madhabs. All those four imams and the scholars who came after after them and followed their schools, all they were trying to do was follow the rasul of Allah (saw). Even the four imams were not arrogant that they themselves were always correct, but so humble that they told us to abandon their teaching if something they said turned out to be wrong somehow. All aside, we are all muslims brothers and sisters, one ummah, let's set aside our differences and focus on our Rab. Assalamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullah.

Regardless of what Madhab or any Hadith you follow. We are one ummah. And what matters is the intention of prayer. There are differences in terms of where to keep the hands, saying amen loudly or not or doing rafadain. The 4 imams did their best to make people understand the Quran and sunnah the right way. We follow sources that are most trustworthy to us at the end of the day. I think that this video can help any Muslim whether their hanafi, Shafi, Maliki, hanbali, salafi, etc. we are one ummah

Because it has major misinformations, they say praying with hands hanging down is wrong because of 1 hadith, yet malik ibn anas (ra) which is also cited many times in this video called folding arms MAKRUH, and he indeed prayed with arms hanging noone can deny that. I think it is that when you start a prayer you must always start with the Takbir, i.e, Raising your hands to your shoulders and then placing them together in between the chest and your abdomen while saying "Allahu Akbar". That is, the said action must be done even if the Imam you are going to follow has reached forward in Salah, i.e, when you are about to start your salah following the Imam when the Imam is in Rukooh, Sujood etc. Sorry if you couldn't understand. I am not good at explaining. English is not my first language. *(This is what I've interpreted from the video. But please, correct me if I am wrong. I will greatly appreciate it.)* And Allah Knows best. May Allah Guide us all. Salam.

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. I believe what it is trying to show is that when you are late to a prayer i.e MASBUQ, then what you should do is 1) stand still for a second, 2) make Takbeer 3) Qiyam i.e stand still with arms folded for another second 4) then, and only then, do you follow (do) what the imam is doing at that moment i.e ruku', sujud etc. And if you are able to join the imam in his ruku' then you are considered as having join him in that rakaat (and not have to add that rakaat later after the imam gave his salam). Allahualam. P.S. Pls read up about being masbuq and muwafiq.

Closing your eyes during sujood is makruh tanzihan (mildly disliked) but if you do it because it helps you concentrate (and not out of lethargy) it would be considered a superior action.

Pray the way that our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) has taught us to. Don't innovate for the likes of even your family. Many Shia's don't pray the right way and I'd suggest that you make your salaat correctly. Lead by example and in shaa Allah this will motivate the rest of your family. I hope this was of help.

Slighy issues, the vedio stated it is an error if one doesnt raise hands after every time when one doesnt goes to ruku and after ruku, the great faqih the like of Imam Abu Hanifa and Imam Malik in their school and research didnt not raise the hands contanlty only at the fist takbir they raise the hands, the are alot of sahih hadith to support this

On you tube searchn for hanafi fiqh channel salah, you will find all authintic daleel for praying salah, not only that following any of the four school of thought is far safer then following a school of today, as the four schools was formed in the first 3 generation, also the hanafi fiqh was not only formed by one individual it was the work of 40 great scholars at the time of the tabaeen (generation after sahaba)

***** Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud (radhiallahu anhu) said: "Shall I not show you the manner in which Rasulullah (Sall Allahu alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallim) performed his salaah?" Thereafter he performed the salaah but he did not raise his hands except at the beginning (of his salaah). [Tirmidhi, Hadith no.257] This Hadith is classified Hasan. Ibn Hazm (R.A.) has declared it as sahih. Ahmed Shakir (R.A.) has also declared it as sahih.

Faruk1189 The problem with deriving ruling from that narration only is that you're doing that excluding other narrations which have an authenticity far greater (as this narration is NOT unanimously accepted as sahih). Also, seeing someone doing something holds a stronger proof than not seeing. For example, in the court of law if someone testifies that he did not see the person charged doing something, and there is another person that testifies that he saw him doing something, then the person who SAW, his testimony will be accepted. A simple example would be if B said he didn't see A with a club, but C said he did see A holding a club, then C's testimony is stronger. So the hadiths of Bukhari and Muslim (books with highest authenticity after the Qur'an) which have sahih narrations in support of raising hands before and after ruqu' hold greater strength. And Allah knows best.

The points raised are good and all but overall this is a poor quality video. For important issues like this, it would be much better to clarify each point even if only briefly and to present them in a more efficient manner. And I personally found the narrator's voice irritating for some reason.

Awyeah8 keeping the hands by the side is the opinion of the majority of the malaki school. It is a strong opinion. To say that doing so is rejecting the sunnah is a lie as many scholars considered leaving them at the side the sunnah. Dont speak based on ignorance.

This is what happens when you abandon the four madhabs. You create your own 21st century madhab and end up indirectly backbiting the giant scholars of the past; as if they didn't know how to pray correctly and we now do. Stick to a madhab. Keep it simple.

madhabs are a fitna and a source of dissension amongst muslims just like nationalism. The opinion of imam abu hanifa and imam malik and the likes should not be considered superior to the opinions of any other scholar and muslims should not in any way stick to the madhab that prevails in their area but instead search for truth in 'ilm and what's legitimate at all times. Awyeah8 so IMam bukhari who was a follower of the shafii madhab and imam taimiyaah who was a follower of the hanbali madhab, were they wrong? Imam Al bani father was a hanafi too. Madhabs have been around for 1400 years with all scholars adhering to one, then there's people like you who follow nafs, playing around with hadith and verses thinking your a mujtahib, when truly your playing around with the devil forming and picking your own narrations.
