Oil leaks will make your water pump fail. If you've got an oil leak and and a failing water pump, you need to fix both. Otherwise, the water pump will eventually fail again

Hi. This is a basic O-ring, FPM80 52x3mm costs around 5$, so no need for PN

I cant really speak to other brands but I've always used permatex with no issues

I had excessive oil coming from the bottom of mine but I thought it was from spilling oil when adding. I’ll have to double check now and probably just change it anyways.

Do you need to change the cover or also the cover? I'm trying to figure out how to do this to prevent it from happening again as long as possible and wondering if that inner seal also needs to be replaced since it's not clear which seal/gasket is leaking
