Even though Common and Pete Rock aren't in my daily rotation and I've had other favorites on drink champs..this is by far the best drink champs episode ever. I had goosebumps watching this because of all of their collective love and admiration for hip-hop, the history lessons, all the gems they droppin, DJ EFN nerding out and getting to show love for Pete Rock. In 1994, Pete Rock was not embraced as an ICONIC CREATIVE. Atlantic Records thought that his process was TOO ELABORATE and many people told me that the streets didn't UNDERSTAND his CLEAN ELEGANCE.
