I agree with you completely about planner things not bothering me overmuch. It's a planner; it should be well-loved, and it's unlikely you'll notice many of the issues after a few months. I have been part of the online planner community for more than 20 years, and it seems people are more interested in having something pretty to display than having something pretty to use.

I love the gilded edges, but it has too much space for me (I don't need daily pages.) Definitely an option if I combine journaling with my planner and have content I want to keep/archive. I am not there yet! I did sign up for a Sterling Ink Sub Box because I love her artwork and will be incorporating those into my journals. My Planner pages are just a mess that I prefer to toss, so I don't decorate them. But I love that she has satisfied a need and developed a product that people are loving! Good for her!

I feel like the blank pages are versatile so you don't feel the pressure to use daily every day. I'm not sure if i'll be setting it up as a daily yet or just whatever notes I need space for. I'm glad you enjoyed the video 🤎

I love the undated back pages -- use them for journalling, calendar spread for finances and weeklies for the day to day mundane stuff 😁 I ordered the B6 folio from Galen Leather and it fits this planner perfectly. (Couldn't wait til January, so started the monthly and daily journalling December 1)

Informative. New sub here. Where did you get your December stencil (I assume it comes with😮 the whole year of months, ) and also the rub on designs - please?

WELCOME!!!! I'm so glad you're here! ☺So the for December I just hand lettered the word in with my pentel brush pen and the rub on designs I picked up from Cute things from design. I beleive the brand is from Mind wave. They have pretty inexpensive beautiful design sets that I like to use ✌

I also have the Common Planner and enjoy watching how others set it up. Can I ask where you found the tabs? I have been looking for very minimal tabs and these look perfect. Thanks!

Ah thanks so much for watching! I found my tabs on cute things from japan but I've seen these at jetpens as well.

I think they are the Midori ones. Another option is GracieEdits which you’ll see on my setup when the video goes up (might do a quick tab video this weekend too).

Just FYI the Midori clear cover is B6slim size not B6 because they don’t sell a B6 notebook - just B6slim. But there’s quite a few clear/jelly cover options. SterlingInk is launching clear ones for both the full and half year this week. CatspressoCo’s B6 Stalogy cover fits the half year and they are going to be launching one specifically designed for the full year too. Salty Katie is launching her covers for both the full and half year on the 16th. And with some heat to stretch the LaurenPhelpsDesign covers fit the full year too.

Ah thank you ! For some reason I thought that Midori has a B6 size as well not just the slim. I know that Catherine mentioned recently that she is releasing this week her own clear covers which will be on the website. I would imagine that would be the safest bet for most of us to get a clear cover for it. I haven't seen the other shops yet but that's great to know. I suppose it depends on the look you are going for with your planner if you need a clear cover or some of the recommendations that I mentioned in the video. Thanks for watching ☺
