I have three points.. 1. When a person invites/when visiting someone at their house, PLEASE buy them something..it can be bread, milk or sugar. Dont go empty handed.. 2. Know when to leave. Dont overstay your welcome. You went for lunch and now you're there past 10pm. Doing what? 3. If you went for a sleepover, dont spread the bed with same sheets you slept on the morning after..Fold them and place them at the corner of the bed.

If someone offers you a ride, don’t ask them to drop you off at a place that’s out of their way unless they offer to. Also, it could be polite to offer money for fuel.

@Alpha-wz2qu5 жыл бұрын
I concur with the first part, the second one however, no. If you offered me a ride why again do I have to offer you money for fuel? It's not like you're consuming more fuel by having me in that car yet we're headed in the same direction. In that case I might as well take that money I was going to offer you and pay for public transportation, which in the long run might actually be cheaper. Cause if you're offering someone money for fuel you can't exactly give them less than 1k. The only exception may be if we're going somewhere that takes more than 3 hours or something like a road trip.

i think the interview Jules is talking about..was done by trevoh noah and Chimamanda Ngozi,main point was that the man should not open the door just because i am a woman.but she would also do the same for a man..or a woman..because we are human.
@bintimrembo5 жыл бұрын
Right, this is what she said wasn't it? Have to find that interview to refresh my memory.
@jwanjeri5 жыл бұрын
Yes, it was. Chimamanda N. Adichie did say she does NOT mind someone opening the door for her but she is not for the idea of someone doing so just because she is a woman, but because it is simply courteous to do so. Her underlying message was: this particular act should NOT be gendered, as it is common courtesy. If you (man/woman) notice someone right behind you (man/woman), hold the door for them. Notice an elder coming through, hold the door. Notice a man coming through hands full, hold the door.
