#7 If he was walking "the wrong way" then the sidewalks must also be regulated in which case the cops were really "coppers" and he had walked passed old pennies laying on the ground. Unless he was walking backwards, or on all fours, or dancing and prancing, in which case "wrong way" referred to his METHOD of walking, and not the direction.
