i dont think its the platforms but the arches inside the ceiling in the corners. I dont know this but im pretty sure, so maybe you could give that a go.

The reason why it was invalid was because you made your floor entirely out of platforms

bro this isn't the games fault ,its you not knowing how housing works. you need a solid block for housing, you can't just have the floor be all platforms, when you broke one of the platforms it split the rooms into one big room, and believe it or not, the floor is wood :)
