I believe in delliverance. I found your channel shortly after coming to the Lord and have followed you ever since. I live in north-east Italy (Friuli) and have yet to find a true church to attend to. It makes me really sad sometimes that I still have not found a church after 4 years of being a Christian, it's hard; even more because I'm the only Christian in my family and that I know here. But I am not giving up on God and he hasn't given up on me. Between the italian Christians I know from social media, I think most of them don't believe in deliverance ministry. Either just the 'a christian can have a demon' part or outright reject it. Some don't even believe in other spiritual warfare truth, especially the baptist ones (from what I've seen, not trying to generalize too much here). And sometimes it breaks my heart to see, also because some of them don't believe in it because of bad experiences they had. And the ones that do believe in deliverance tend to also believe in some stuff that isn't fully good. For example, most of the italian Christians I know who do believe it (which are few) also believe that women can be pastors. They are still amazing brothers and sisters, but many of them have this belief. This sometimes causes me a lot of discouragment, especially when it comes to look for a church here in Italy. Christianity is already not popular in north Italy, it's even harder to find a church that has the right balance between spiritual gifts and studying the Bible. I'll get baptized soon by a brother and sister who believe women can be pastors, they are from another region. But I believe they are true brothers ans sisters and God has lead me to them; so I'm letting them baptize me and I'm very happy about it. Because I never got baptized in water yet either. I have been told about an apostolic church also; I was thinking of attending, but I don't know anyone who goes to one, I'm not sure if it's biblical or not (tho they don't believe women can be pastors). Sometimes I wish a good bible-believing and spirit filled person or people from America would come here in Friuli to preach in the streets and/or start a church. So that I wouldn't be alone and I would have a good curch to attend, with like-minded believers.

the verse in 1 corinthians is the most common verse raised in opposition against deliverance ministry in my experience. Demons love that verse

Why would someone fight against deliverance when so many people are tormented by demons including Christians. Even in early church people were being delivered. Mary Magdalene had seven demons removed from her. In acts those who believed had demons come out crying. Its those who know they are bound who appreciate deliverance.

@Dennis.Delfina generally speaking thats a good assumption, although there probably are some people who are genuinely just ignorant and that's the conclusion they've come to. But then, if they were presented the evidence, they would probably change their minds.

Here are the scriptures that came to my mind about deliverance vs. forgiveness of sin: 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, Mathew 10:8, 1 Peter 4:8, James 1:5, and Nehemiah. For me personally, receiving Jesus Christ is the key to forgiveness of sins and taking up power and authority the Christ gives us including the word of God that equips us for warfare so that we can maintain our new freedom to receive life in Christ, to do the work of our Heavenly Father and make us effective leaders. 🙂

I was feeling a tad bit discouraged because a lady who I recently started subscribing too shared her traumatic experience with deliverance and she said that Christian’s can’t have demons and if you are still in need of deliverance as a Christian you aren’t saved because demons can’t touch you and if there’s demons inside of you then the Holy Spirit isn’t there. Can you do a video explaining this Noah? If you already explained in this video, sorry, I’m not done watching the video yet.

@theprimecreator-come True, but there has been a lot of fraud in almost every area of ministry, it's not utterly unique to deliverance ministry. It may just be a little more blatant in some cases.
