I am thankful that there are projects out here like this. In the American Great Lakes region, there is enough rainfall so that fertilizers & pesticides can be dumped on fields every year to maintain yields. The proof of failure shows up in algal blooms in Lake Erie, killing fish and making the water unsafe for drinking. We get so much rain that the farm fields have "drain tile" under them to drain excess water to rivers. Instead we need to follow arid areas, and make retention ponds & wetland areas among the cropland. And grow cover crops and rotate livestock instead of constant synthetic fertilizer.

Thanks for all the work you do! but there is something that I do not understand: why can't we hear the local language spoken? for me, that's part of engaging with diversity. Maybe there is a reason I don't know, but I don't like that English is spoken on top of he language people use, when there is always translation available to read?

kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKG5Z3ihj7yIo8U I love, that the made an English version, as my spanish is not good enough to understand the most of it. (I'm German). I think, there are so many countries that could learn from projects like that one, because there are now more degraded lands than healthy ones. We need to get the word out FAST to heal the world.
