For those thinking on debating Avraham based on his arguments one key area he uses is that we were fine before Christianity and Islam came to Africa okay but we don’t know enough to categorically conclude that one reason is the deliberate distraction of our historical structures and lack of written history. Perhaps lack of extensive research on our true history before slavery and colonialism. Hope this helps because until we know how our ancestors lived we will be ruled by the history of slavery and colonialism. ✌🏿✊🏿to the family

Alleged contradictions in the bible are actually supplementations and that no genuine contradiction has ever be found in the good book. One example, which Avram cited, is the alleged contradiction between Mark 15:32 and Luke 23:39-41: Mark 15:32 (32) Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him. Luke 23:39-41 (39) And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. (40) But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? (41) And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. Mark says the two thieves reviled Jesus and Luke says one of the two did, so how do we resolve this alleged contradiction? There are three points that always establish a genuine contradiction: 1) Is it the same person(s) or object(s) that is in view here? 2) Do we have the same time in view here? 3) Do we have the same sense of understanding in view here? Apply these points to the above given texts and you will observe that in light of the quotations given above, you can answer yes to point 1 and 3 but not 2, therefore there is no genuine contradiction between the two texts given. What resolves the alleged contradiction is the time factor.Intially the two thieves reviled Jesus but later one repented having reflected on his actions period. Apply these same points to many of these alleged contradictions and you will get the same result for God cannot lie (Titus 1:2). The writers of the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke & John) are likened to Journalists telling the same story but from different angles, and when the various versions are put together like a puzzle, you will get the full picture of the event that occured.This in itself proves the bible to be the product of divine inspiration. Had the writers reported the same story in the same way using the same words (ditto), critics of the Bible will have a good reason to reject the gospel as being a mere product of human invention and a work of conspiracy amongst the writers to deceive the world about a non-existent Christ who was born, died, was buried and was resurrected. But to the contrary, even secular history confirms the Christ ever walked the surface of this earth.
