Knowing this history of Trump is frightening, for me, yet to know the millions of supporters in America and around the world do not know Trumps ugly history sets a greater chill in me. David Cay Johnston illustrates an excellent penetrating composition, a lot I did not know but sensed intuitively since Trumps television show "The Apprentice". Reflecting about the that television show revealed a creepy importance of Loyalty in contrast to Good Business Government Practice. Sotomayor said it very appropriately, subtlety coupling America’s existence† to the Supreme Court abortion decision, " [Will] America survive the Stench...". Trumps influence upon America will be difficult to resolve, seventy million American Trump Republican supporters will not make it easy to wash off that stench, becoming born again to truth of new ideas. My opinion. [JZ].

Of course Captain Chaos, The Agent of Orange didn't act alone. He doesn't possess the strategic prowess or the articulation to ever pull off such a feat. Every action leading up to Jan 6th goes far beyond Captain Chaos. This has been years, if not decades in the making by white nationalists, white supremacists, and evangelical Christians who fear diversity of races, as well as religious faiths. They are against immigration for that reason. Captain Chaos is only their figurehead, and the only person with the audacity, arrogance, ego, and the stupidity to attempt something so outrageous. These groups exploited Captain Chaos's greed, his thirst for power, and of course his blind stupidity. Anyone who can't make money in the casino business can't be very smart.

What would American politics look like if all donations to elected officials were considered bribery as in Europe?
@meh89822 жыл бұрын
It would look more like how it looked in the 1940s-1970s. Much of the earlier government corruption was cleaned up in the 1930s, and then after the 70s it began to work its way back in again, especially starting with Reagan. Now that the oligarchy/right wing has its own powerful propaganda outlets, it's unlikely that corruption will ever be able to be cleaned up again.

In 2015/16 when Trump told everyone that Obama would not willingly leave office, I also commented that if anyone was not going to leave office willingly, it would be Trump, People like Trump always have a way of projecting their own intention, just like criminals with power, are always quick to blame others for the things they’ve done, or intend to do, which is why so many innocent people are convicted for crimes they didn’t do…

Guy tells it like it is. The real challenge is finding more honest men than you have corrupt ones in government. At the moment the corrupt officials outnumber the honest ones. Also it is too easy for the corrupt to be corrupt and get away with it. Maybe remove the temptation and or actually be pragmatic and seriously tackle the whole issue right across the board.
