Love the vinyl haul! I buy and sell a lot of vinyl. I put a disclaimer right in my listing about my albums being "for playing and sentimental journeys". I don't grade them, but disclose everything. Serious collectors will look elsewhere for the mint stuff to stash away. My vinyl is for music lovers. I consistently get positive feedback and make anywhere from $10-100 per vinyl. Since I keep my cost about 50 cents to $2, I do well. Easy and cheap to ship too. I need to get out of FL...nothing here but Lawrence Welk, Andy Williams and Herb Alpert. 😉 Great video!

So glad to hear this! I have a couple thousand LPs that I collected through the years buying out estates. I know nothing about them, and just kept accumulating the stacks. I know I have many desirable titles, but was always afraid to list them because I know less than nothing about grading covers or the vinyl themselves.

Kevin pretty nice record collection score!! Word of advice, as a record collector, I always store them upright. Putting records one on top of the other will tend to ruin (warp) them. Love your videos! Have a great day

Pull the sleeve from Led Zeppelin " In through the out door" it had dotted artwork and if you rubbed a wet cloth over it.... it became colored. Don't know if that makes it valuable but when I was a teen we found out by accident when a friend set a glass of Kool-aid on it. I didn't read all the comments and maybe everyone already knows this. We thought it was cool since it never was advertised..

Check the inner-ring (aka the run-out) on the Led Zeppelin II. If you see the initials RL etched into it, it means it is the rare Robert Ludwig mastered version and will be worth well over $100 even in rough condition.

If you take a dry erase marker and just keep going back and forth over the sharpie on the record covers, the sharpie will typically wipe off. I use a magic eraser to wipe it off with.

Oh my the memories..my dad was a a 60's hippie he had a massive vinyl collection that he passed down to me and I had my own also and he taught me how to preserve and handle all of the vinyl minor all in excellent condition covers and the vinyl I was lucky enough to also get to see a lot of them in concert while I was growing up in the 60s and 70s I love sharing that nostalgia with my grandkids they love to listen to the old LPs thanks for sharing

I’m 49 and I have appreciated every album you showed. I still listen to a lot of rock/metal bands. I grew up with Bon Jovie, Guns n Roses, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, Metallica……… As far as those records please list high don’t short change your self and family you resellers work to hard. I believe that there will be situations when people are looking for a clean album because theirs sucks but they have a perfect cover and need your album.

wow wow wow!!! I've sold records with the covers taped... You would be surprised how LP's play well when they look scratched. It's a lot of work, I usually play my records while listing them to check for any problems... Covers sell without an album in them, as do inserts.

This is why we went to cds. If the record player didn't hav a drop the needle would go back and forth and scratch the records if you weren't watching closely. This will always be my favorite though. Very solid lot of classic rock titles. Check the Led Zeppelin IIs for "RL" in the runout matrix. If the RL is present, it's worth $100 and up, even in poor condition. A lot of the other titles are $20-30 records (Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Van Halen, Pink Floyd) if the condition is VG or better. The lesser titles you can probably sell in lots of 10 for around $50-$60. Nice score.

Guillaume is correct. Always store the records standing on edge. You also have to check the inner sleeve. Many of the records had a printed inner sleeve with lyrics, photos and/or artwork. Many of the ones you have there seem to have generic white sleeves which means the originals pro ably got destroyed along the way.

I had a lot of those LP’s and held onto them for many years. I still have some and still listen to them nice in awhile. Definitely a different sound. You should be able to move them pretty good as they are all well known albums.

There is one SGT. Peppers Lonely hearts band that is worth well over $100,000 dollars. The CEO of Capitol Records had 50 custom records made for his executives. He replaced about 7-8 pictures on the very top with the pictures of the executives! From what research that i have done, of the 50 only several exist today. Also, the Zeppelin 1 record could be rare if the inner sleeve/label (not sure exactly. Research it) is purple. I have owned at least 5 Beatles records that had only couple of hundred copies in existence Unfortunately, I sold them all. LIVE AND LEARN!

Kevin, great find! If the Self-titled Rush album is on Moon Records it could be several hundred dollars. If not it could still be a hundred. You got a gold mine with Hendrix, Judas Priest. Good thing Dave didn't get to them first, he would have made a mess of them. Always store upright, don't stack them on each other. I'm seeing at least 10X return on those records.

Records always my Achilles heel even though they do take some time to list. I’d say always play albums I’ve had ones that look brand new but have pops and static.

The REM, Priest, Sabbath, Zeppelin and Floyd "Wish You Were here" will be worth cleaning before listing. Just list the rest without cleaning but make sure you mention that in the description. If unsure of condition, grade conservatively.

Van Halen, Led Zep, the Floyd, AC/DC etc etc. That was a great score. Even in an average vg condition, there is still plenty of profit there. Personally I would lot them up as band groups. Or better still, hold on and enjoy!
