Great info on those fake sells that you see on Ebay. however, doesn't the seller get snagged with Ebay fees for the sale? Seems like a losing proposition. Does cancellations still show as sales and no fees charged? Maybe that's what happening. Your take please. Thanks!

LOVE/D Dr. Demento! Not much of a Dead Head (more of a Led head, so...) Cackled at the Beanie Baby craze. I believe my dad and I were at that Martinsville race, Sept 1986! Never missed a race there until college years, then it was hit or miss (I tried to get back home tho!) I have scads of personalized KY license plates that I don't mind to send for your shelves/bins. Hi Kevin! I buy Beanie Babies (with the tags) and resell them in my booth. I usually buy them for 25 cents to $1 and sell them for $2 for the smalls and $4 or &5 for the larger ones. Beanies without tags go to my classroom. My first graders will jump through hoops to earn that coveted treasure box prize. Either way, it is a win win for me. I make a few extra bucks AND I get to keep my sanity! 🤣

I love it. I doubt me 10th graders would. LOL. Most of the time the winner of a competition gets to pick something old out of my desk because I want to clean it out. old pencils that are broken, loose change, the occasional cough drop etc. LOL

Yeah I bought a big box a beanie babies a couple of months ago for $15 thinking I was going to make a bunch of money looking at the comps after I investigated it come to find out the first and second Generations or worth a little bit but all of mine were 4th generation and up I just lotted whole thing together and sold it it brought $30 but after looking at those cops I thought I was going to make several hundred

Really enjoy the videos. Wanted to ask a question/make a correction on shipping the floppy diskettes. I believe that because these were new in the box, they would not qualify for media mail. Yes, they are media, but without any data on the disks, they would be considered merchandise by the USPS. Same goes for VHS tapes. New ones do not qualify for media mail, used ones do though, and that is why you see people selling VHS tapes with recorded TV shows on E-Bay.

Yes. You are right but the the actually I believe vhs with recorded shows from TV aren't media either because they have advertising on them.

Them Floppys cant go media mail unless something is saved to them. Same as blank cassettes and dvd's and so on.

The Cincinnati Picker said in a recent video that blank VHS, cassettes, DVDs, etc cannot be shipped media mail because there is no media on them. Only movies and music can be shipped media mail because it's media. If video games do not qualify as media mail, then are blank computer discs disqualified too since you can put games on them? Also, if magazines can't be sent by media mail because of the advertisements, can a movie on DVD or VHS be sent by media mail if it has trailers or advertisements for other movies at the beginning???

I asked the USPS about VHS / Dvd's and they are ok for the same reason books with incidental publisher ads are ok. That is what they told me but NO blank media of any kind as they are considered merchandise. Also I was told if you ship burned DVD movies Thru the USPS it is a federal crime if caught and the USPS WILL prosecute for shipping illegal items the same as they prosecute for shipping drugs.
