Living with COVID, demographic challenges, climate change in increasing natural disasters, demographic issues, and a troubling geopolitical environment. In this unprecedented fluid environment, Japan should have much to offer in terms of resilience and innovation. But, in this complex world, the facts no longer speak for themselves. Does Japan need to make a better effort at communicating its role and contribution? How does it do this? What needs to change, if anything? This panel examines the way Japan presents itself to the world and discusses and proposes changes and new approaches.
