Communication and language are critical in understanding mental health. In this discussion, Maddi Crease, a lived experience practitioner with the Anna Freud Centre, Professor Carla Sharp from the University of Huston, and Professor Peter Fonagy, Chief Executive of the Anna Freud Centre discuss working with and supporting young people with complex emotional needs, or borderline personality disorder (BPD), as it’s sometimes known. BPD is a term we don’t like or choose but it’s recognised clinically.
The discussion is part of A Tale of Three Cities 2022, which takes place in International Borderline Disorders Month.
