what's interesting about this video is the fact that it was released just 2 days after their debut, yet they seemed so comfortable with each other. i recommend watching their kstarnextdoor interview. it is an interview that is a bit more laid back with lots of humour. i feel that the video you just watched was hard to grasp especially since you are still learning about the members.

You're so right about Jiwoong. They all look up to him so much. Ricky called Jiwoong the pride of ZB1, Gunwook called Jiwoong the charm of ZB1 and Taerae said that the reason why ZB1 was so stable is because a rock like jiwoong came and embraced them. He's really the pillar. Not only the members but also the staff. They said that Jiwoong is really kind to them and i remember how the staff said that they were really worried about Jiwoong cuz he was sick but he kept running around trying to lift up the atmosphere (they were worried cuz he had fainted before) and he also one day was really happy so he kept hugging the staff. He also once gave his coat to staff cuz he didn't want them to get sick he's always so loved. Even other idols love him like Hongjoong from Ateez said that he has a really kind personality so they became friends easily. And in fansigns we always see the bodyguards help him out and laugh with him all the time. Even Jiwoong's teacher said that he was really kind and all the boys planet contestants chose Jiwoong as the kindest and associated him to comfort. Jiwoong is really such a kind and sweet person he deserves the world

I think part of the reason why Jiwoong is so chill with the other members messing with him is because he's just a really playful person to begin with. Also in his previous group, he was one of the youngest members so I think he brought over some of that mindset. He's one of the members who does go crazy and do spontaneous unexpected things, but at the same time, he knows when to dial it back and be serious. The age difference between him and the youngest member, Yujin, is about 9 years, but they get along great and Jiwoong is often seen playing around with Yujin and Yujin seems perfectly comfortable poking fun at him too. But in all seriousness, Jiwoong seems to be good at reading people and figuring out how they feel. While he is the oldest and has more experience in the entertainment industry and life in general, he does seem to just let the others figure things out and step in only when needed.

Hao is actually one of only two Introverts in the group (him and Ricky) lmao. BUT he is surprisingly unselfconscious (he says and does the most random things, often embarrassing Mr. Professional Hanbin lmao) and definitely one of the most chaotic members of the group.....plus he obv loves to perform and be on the stage. However, he needs his "me time" and you can see him zoning out when he runs out of energy.

Well that is what an introvert is. We just need to recharge energy by ourselves. The only reason I struggle talking is social anxiety/ low self confidence not introversion. People need to know the difference

This was when Jiwoong was still holding himself back probably because he had a sense of responsibility as the oldest but once he let himself loose and felt comfortabe to show his chaotic and playful side which is how is he for the most part we barely see him being serious. He also getting along with the youngest members the most.

I think you are mostly correct, with just some differences in how each member is elaborated on. I particularly agree with Jiwoong. To me, he remains calm and grounded, which helps the other members view him as someone who can support them. He enjoys the company of the younger members, showing that he doesn’t let his age set him apart from the group. His attitude holds a unique place within the dynamics of the group. And as for Hanbin, i think people should applaud the way he behaves. To have someone that hold such an important part in meeting the needs of the teams and also the fans. He really is amazing. Just like what you said that he look polish and like to be on stage. I think that all come from the mindset that he had to lead the team and showcasing the uniqueness of zerobaseone which is something to admire on

I have to say that I really appreciate how much attention you paid to jiwoong. I agree with pretty much everything you said, jiwoong is a very very kind, humble, and playful person. He's someone that the members feel comfortable around and makes sure that everyone shines and has fun. He definitely has his playful moments and will joke around and be goofy but for the most part he's really just that constant that always cares about the members. He's a very responsible and calm person and you're right about him letting the members do what they want around him. He has a large age gap with the youngest member Yujin especially, but he really just is that older brother that supports all his members. I don't think I've ever seen him get upset at any of the members, he just jokes around with them and plays along with them.

So happy you're continuing to check them out! They have so many great sides to them and like people have pointed out this video is very timely since today is the one year anniversary of their debut. You noticed a lot about jiwoong so I will say that he is great in that he has a lot of maturity but brings a lot of fun and light to the group as well he is still pretty young himself only 25 but he has been working in this industry and trying to follow his dream for many years now so he has a real story of perseverance and I think that makes him seem more mature even than his age.

Finally thank you for explaining that. Honestly i really agree abt how you explain their bonding is centered around teasing and its something they enjoyed doing to each other. I hope fans would stop overanalyzing their teasing and joke bcs im pretty sure if they are not ok with it they will solve it with each other bcs they do have mutual understanding on how short their time together and focusing to let loose a bit and be happy. And yes i agree how they will make sure everyone gets their part of teasing 😂 and it will not be one sided. Everyone has their own share being the person who gets teased or the one who teased. I'm hoping you can react to their 200 day anniversary video too. I'm sure it will be interesting to you because it will be the opposite of this and we can see how they actually value each other despite the teasing.

I will try and write out the name pronunciation’s as good as possible (oldest to youngest) Jiwoong is Ji-Ung (w is silent) Hao (just as its spelled) Hanbin is Han-bin (Han like the Han from straykids) Matthew (u got the pronunciation right there) Taerae is as you said it except the r in korean is sort of like a mix between l and r so it is sort of like rolling the r but just once its hard to explain Ricky (as you see it) Gyuvin is giu-bin (idk why there is a v because his Korean name has a b) Gunwook is Gun(like the weapon)-uk (w is silent) Yujin is You-jean I hope this made sense TT

The group is so close with one another that it's surprising to think they were formed on a survival/competition show from 98 guys down to these 9, so most of them have only known each other for a few months. But then again, the trauma bonding being in a high stress enviroment like a survival show probably brought them closer together lol
