Communion pascale - Le Récital des anges by Ian Cusson

Le Récital des anges composed by Ian Cusson is a journey through the poetry of Canadian icon Émile Nelligan. The song set traces Nelligan's coming of age through questions of identity, inexplicable angst and intense grief, macabre hallucinations and midnight confessions all woven with glimmers of saints, angels and ancestors. The final song of the set, "Communion pascale", describes the mystery of faith found in the sweetness of Easter morning.
