Aesthetically some of them are downgraded from the originals, some are fixed or get some good QoL changes, overall good but subs like the Komet get really slashed in the aesthetic department.

i feel like they went a more vanilla sided approach with a few of the subs which is why the aesthetics would change.

Coincidentally nerding out about another 'EK' thing... the 'Dora' is actually apparently a fanmade update to an absolutely ANCIENT EK submarine made like right when the game hit steam release, so obviously long outdated by now and it explains why the layout is so weird and lacking some of the more modern conveniences. Although some the decorations they used to update it are taken from some other newer EK submarines so it actually really looks like something the original creator would have likely made if they updated it...

Just off the top of my head: I think the engine room & reactor rooms are straight off the Huxley The crew bunks are from the Matriarch and part of Engineering is from one but I can't quite place it... the other decorations like the 'kitchen', medical, and cargo rooms are from another sub - don't quote me on this but I think they might be Rav2n's sub decorations possibly?

hey man i was wondering if you have found any logical submarine from the workshop that is closest in terms of design to real life/realistic submarines (like the gunnery rooms arent placed in middle of command and the ammo from loaders dont teleport to the guns , torpedo system(?) and ballast tanks for example)

you cant make realistic submarine design in simple unrealistic 2d game about swimming with angry fishes. The guns, mechanisms, lack of physics, componets and moving mechanical parts wont let you create something even closely relayted to real life 3d submarines. What you described is just your own preferences, good luck finding something like that

​@@InitialDesui mean obviously i meant realistic submarines in the 2D point of view as you described it there there is no way of making them 3D lol, what i meant by realistic is the design of the submarine's shape (like a US Seawolf look), placement of loaders, ballast tank looking like it's in the inner layer of the hulls not literally a square shaped room (so like ballast made to operate outside the rest of rooms, and the main structure hulls cover ballast from the outside ocean, would be pretty cool imo so far V-1999 came closest to that), real life submarines also have escape pods but ingame it could be used for...incase of moloch attacks but if noone made a sub like that oh well..i'll try it making it myself altough i'm not good at logic components

I love most of these subs but most of them just can't do bots very well and it's a pain in the ass

the ones that i have experience are the: Torakhov, bots can't reach the armory to fix leaks most of the time Vodyanov, they get stuck in all sorts of spots, ballasts, the command room and the obvious drone Anamora is a fine sub if it weren't for the shuttle confusing the leak fixers Dora is relatively clean in terms of bot intelligence but they struggle to get into the bottom right ballast unless the hatch is intentionally left open I like them all but the 'captain only' doors really need to go

Oh right! And the Dora probably needs its airlock reworked or at least the pump needs some extra wiring to make it pump out while the top door is open, as the bots like to open it whenever they feel like it
