Hi Don. That was a great story about the speeding ticket etc. You sure do attract a lot of attention....even some you don't want! Thanks for sharing the story of You & Us for Manta's Children work here in Manta and area. With the donations from the community and abroad and the work of our Volunteers we have been supporting disadvantaged children and families for 12 years in Manta. Thanks.

I appreciate knowing about the cloned license plate and your story about what you did about it. I suppose it's a concern one has to be ready for although I hope it doesn't happen too often. I wonder why they couldn't find that other car? Did they not care? I also wonder why they kept using the same fake license plate because that seems like a sure fire way to get someone really after them.

They did find the other car when was was abandoned and burned. Did they not care? No, they don't care. The police don't care, the Transit authority could care less, and the government is about as useless as a tit on a chicken. There you have it. That's Ecuador. The cloned license plate, cloned drivers license, and the cloned registration is BIG business here.
