In today's video we're going to discuss what Amazon is STILL doing to our model kits were buying and other packages too. Amazon is Still shipping model kits in that damn white plastic bag and the kits are getting smashed and broken. More content creates have had this issue in the last weeks. Now you have to ask for a box to have your kits shipped in. How insane is that????
It Has Been Suggested To Select Everything As A Gift And That Way They Will Put Things In A Gift Bag And In A Box...

The comments in the other video and all over the modeling community have been saying what problems they are having getting not just model kit but all kinds of things from Amazon in bags or no bag and just slapping shipping lables on the box/bag and ship it.
This is NOT a Shipper problem this is a Amazon Problem!!!

I don’t buy model kits from Amazon but have had issues with other things. Empty sealed Amazon envelopes, last year Amazon had an exclusive with hot wheels and was selling black boxes of I believe 24 cars with a chance for treasure hunts and supers. People were getting the boxes opening them removing the good cars then returning it to Amazon. Amazon turned around and would reship them. Eventually after enough complaints they stopped excepting returns.

Well the sneak thieves are everywhere they do the same thing on eBay with models, computer stuff and so on and them send them back for a refund. A thieve is a thieve not matter how you slice sad to say. Amazon needs to return to pre 2020!!!! Thanks for watching LLAP 🖖

The crushing problem is less with Amazon's packaging, and much more to do with the shipper, and sometimes the individual sellers. Especially with USPS in my case. Those guys just don't care. 😮 I just yesterday received an item ordered from Amazon the 7th of June, and seeing the status messages of USPS shipping, it came from Nebraska, went Georgia, down here to Florida... then to Puerto Rico! Then out to Arkansas, back to Georgia, and finally to me in Florida! That is shameful. And driver does the "dump&dash", tossing it over my fence and driving off. UPS, FedEx and Amazon drivers deliver to my front porch. I am disabled, mobility-impaired and homebound, so going down/up steps out into the yard is a major chore. USPS always does this! I get most everything via Amazon, as I cannot drive and live alone. No going to the post office. Amazon has it's problems, but USPS should be discontinued, they are pretty well useless. 🤨

Well if Amazon put stuff in a box again it would not get crushed in shipping as it was not a issue until as of late. Can't speak of you experience but I have not have had that issue with USPA, UPS, Fedex. As for USPS I will agree that there shipping is plain dumb as I have packages pass of go over go pass me 3-4 times before I get it... Lol I order stuff from Amazon and it is 7-10 days before I get it, so there is another RANT... Lol I get stuff for everywhere else in 3 days but Amazon, Noooo takes forever! The trouble they have, is they need to pack a certain number within a minute and just grab which container is the nearest. and are paid minimum wage to do it. I had stuff poorly packed and lost some parts and they couldn't give a toss. But they want you to buy Amazon Prime even though you don't buy a lot over the year.

That may be and I don't know for sure. All I know is there shipping is getting worse all the time and that is sad that they don't care how they send it. I have had Prime for years so that is a mute point for them saving $$ on a box at my expense and others. Thanks for watching LLAP 🖖

I've ordered several models from Amazon...only one issue and it was not crushed too bad. I try to order other items with my kits so that they put in a box. They are starting to use more bags though...cost savings.

I order in bulk as it were too, 8 or more at a time which most of the time all end in the same box. But yes the bad thing is more and more a issue or nothing at all just slap a label on and ship it! I have only ever ordered 2 kits and other stuff and select all in the same box... Thanks for watching LLAP 🖖

You actually have to request things be put in a box...if they still screw up they just have to keep replacing stuff. Amazon doesn't care. They buy in bulk and resell so they get their profits either way. I won't buy kits on Amazon anymore. Amazon also resells returned items. You really have to read the entire post to be sure of what you're getting.

That could be Marcie... I buy lots of stuff at a time and select all in the same box and that may also help, don't know... Grandpa Mark's Hobbies had it happen again even after asking for a box, he has a new video on it last night (6-27-24). That is the 2nd one for me as I use eBay and other places more. @Bruces-Eclectic-World I ordered some display cases. They just used an envelope. Thankfully, the little bit of bubble wrap the manufacturer used was enough to get them to me in one piece. The driver and how the truck is packed are also an issue. They seem to be like my receiving team at work. Never played tetris or stacked blocks...

Well glad they got there ok regardless. Yep packing the delivery trucks is the other part of the equation (Look Big WORDS... LOL) and in itself a issue... Lol Worked for Walmart for 19 1/2 years and the first 2 years was a unloader and it always amazed me how they packed that 40 foot trailer so tight that there was 1 inch from the top of the box to the roof... 🤣 I like that, "Tetris" funny!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Then you have the restacking of the stock that did not go up on the shelves, yes it was scary and sad and funny at the same time...
