It's sad then that the core mandate of these age group is lost, if it has gone from governance to simply a social gathering where people aim to out-do one another. How have they helped to address health, education and infrastructural needs of the people? What have the masses then gained from these groups beyond the visuals displayed during Ojude-Oba?
