I think they threw away Pierce being the wise older guy in favor of him just being crazy and racist

In this show, Pierce comes off as the unlikely philosopher who had some of the profound words to mouth.

We were designed by whatever entity you choose... AMEN to that!
@nagatouzumaki34924 жыл бұрын
Not really, this statement is stupid. You don't chose entity that "designed" you because you had no capacity to chose prior to your existence ie prior to designer execution of their design. So even if we assume that there is a "designer" we don't chose that entity, we merely may believe that chosen entity is such designer. A choice full of holes on it's own.

@Ice Hockey is Pretty Pretty Good I did account for all meanings within boundaries of proper English language that's and it still doesn't make logical sense. Here are high-quality dictionaries published by reputable universities. ht /d/ tps://dictionary.cambridge.o /d/ rg/dictionary/english/design ht /d/ tps://www.lexico.c /d/ om/definition/design Remove /d/ and spaces for links to work. As you can see there is no a meaning of word design that would be of proper use in English language and yet make statement to have logical sense.

@@NeoStoicism To what irrational claims that don't make logical sense? That would be waste of my mind and ability to think critically and compromise my ability to discern truth from falsehood and as such understand the universe and it's principles and in turn act upon incorrect set of data or conclusions likely leading to undesirable outcomes as I lacked knowledge of consequences of my actions .

Pierce was such a great character. It's a shame that the feud with Harmon made his character different. I never understood that logic, you get mad at an actor and you butcher a character on your show? Community was better with this Pierce.

in the first two seasons I loved how Pierce hat deep moments with Jeff taking the role of giving him fatherly adivce. It was such a great dynamic. Shame that they abandoned it.
