This mod is similar to the POWER-DOWN and DEMISE but retro style mod I played a few months ago, but this time they turned Overdue and Dark Forest into retro style and they added a reloading mechanic for pico and added some custom menus. In this mod, Pico will battle Too Late Luigi (yo soy luigi mamma mia luigi.exe) in overdue while Boyfriend and Girlfriend battle Coronation Day Peach from Coronation Day, SMW Hack aka Peach.EXE.
I'll be playing Overdue, Dark Forest and Roses Erect on very hard, and I'll be comparing the song's new style to the original levels in Mario's Madness v2.

I still don't know how I feel about Dark Forest, it's based on one of the most atmospheric Mario Horror mods there is, that game isn't loud or full of jump scares, it's quiet and it's horror creeps up on you. Meanwhile the song itself literally screams at you, it's arguably the loudest in all of Mario Madness, maybe only beat by the MX songs in that regard.
