I think one of the characteristics between whether a person is more left or right leaning is whether they understand and take into consideration human nature when it comes to the policies that they back. Blocking traffic, interrupting people’s daily lives, including preventing them from getting to work and doing the things they need to do to care for their families is not a persuasive move that convinces me to their side. "Pedestrians have the right of way." -Kat On crosswalks and even there they have signals telling them when they can and can't cross, otherwise it's jaywalking and they can be ticketed for it. I live in a red city in a red state. I wonder what would happen if they tried that in Columbia or Charleston S.C.? I think they would be ran over before they could even sit down. We have a lot of trucks, 4 wheel drives, and people who seem to like to run over anything in the way. There would probably be nothing but shoes and signs on the roadway.
