This video is showing how to create storage policies within the Commvault's Java Gui Console. Commvault' has a much easier HTML portal called the Command Center, where instead of Storage Policies, they are called Plans. Setting these plans up within Command Center is quick and easy.

How to delete jobs in storage policy which has exceeded retention period.
@CorpVault2 жыл бұрын
Hi Sravani, If all the settings are configured properly then data aging should automatically delete the jobs in the storage policy which has met the retention. If the retention is exceeded and jobs are still not aged then there are data aging issues. Run data aging and forecast summary report and check for issues and fix them. If you still want to manually delete the job then in the storage policy - view jobs - right click and in the menu select the option delete. Type confirmation text in the pop-up window and click ok to delete the job. Please note, you cannot get the job back once it is deleted for good.
