Rapid fire thoughts on the game: - Moylan and Rose are awesome in the booth - K-Mac and Feely as the bleacher hype guys was great to see - I really enjoy seeing Plouffe lock in during the game. I feel like you can see the switch happen when he starts taking it more seriously and goes into professional athlete mode - happened on the mound in the bottom of the 1st once Como started hitting - Not sure when this started (I think 1-Inning Roulette League), but just want to give props to whoever had the idea for colour coding the captions when the players are talking. Makes it easier to track the conversation and gives a little personality to the broadcast - What a slugfest. Como are the real deal, and this is shaping up to be a great tournament

I know Jimmy talks about it regularly on the Morning Meeting but it is truly insane the amazing thing yall created here. The atmosphere in the warehouse and a truly amazing game. All the rule improvements were big too. Great job all around. This is the content i look forward to the most each day and i usually watch it while feeding my infant son. He was so mezmarized by this game that he actually stopped eating for like 10 min and just watched.

Modern day classic. Plouffe (and I) were shocked by the discipline of the Como hitters, and just had no idea what to throw to them. Dan Rourke actually being able to put the barrel on the ball is huge for Rotten, but he definitely needs to develop some sort of offspeed pitch if he wants to get outs consistently. Easily the highest level game of blitzball ever played in the warehouse, and right now it feels like these two teams and everyone else. We need to see this matchup again.

This is the greatest thing ever. I love the warehouse blitzball. It’s got so many different quirks that other ones don’t have. And it makes it competitive for 1, and 2 it makes it fun. Man o man. I think not letting Dan get that third out in the 1st inning really bit them. Yes they got run rulled and it worked out in a weird way to allow trev to get two outs but still. It’s hard to believe Dan pretty much being a ground rule pitcher they wouldn’t have got run rulled. Hope trev takes that moves on . Absolutely great game tho. Rottens offense isn’t the prob. They just gotta be smart with dans pitching.

All you would have to do is write some code to read chat in real time and then take a running average of the number of chats to determine how loud the noise is. @@joebro1744 that would be insane. im not sure knorp would be as good in blitzball offensively but Drew has had negative help. he didnt put up great numbers offensively but he’s also not working with much. and if you put Davis with Trevor he’ll have that same veteran calmness that he’s giving Dan. Davis plays best when he knows he’s the best on the field and Trevors moxie and skill would match well with Davis

@@timwillits36 Respectfully, I believe that Knorp is better than Davis in every way here other than time with a blitzball. Davis has stepped away from a permanent ace role and I don’t recall him being a star studded bat recently in MLW. You can still see how amazing he looks compared to others in the Warehouse when batters are willing to swing. Otherwise, I agree with all of your points. Before COMO, Davis was the only person to give Trev trouble and it seems to be every time. Take that distraction away from Trev and give him a second arm (and bat) and it could be a trophy for both of them.

All I was thinking since the first inning is since they were up 4, why not just let Rourke pitch until they run rule, then Trev can get as many outs as he wants in the second inning. For any team with one really good pitcher, that seems like the strategy (provided they have some runs to play with). Or maybe he fucks around and accidentally gets the two outs. But either way, wasting Trev's bullets seemed like a bad play, but maybe that's just hindsight

Sending in Plouffe was the move there, especially considering they scored 4 runs in the second. Had Plouffe been able to hold them to 2 or less, Como would not have been able to catch up in the 2nd due to the 5 run limit
