I have the NLT rose colored Compact one and the larger print is amazing. It's so easy to read. I was so surprised when I purchased it because I never saw a Compact Bible this size that was so comfortable to read. I just LOVE it! I also wish I could buy the Hosanna Revival Compact Bible with the cream cover, but it's more the cover I love so I tell myself that I don't need it. I don't know why but there is just something so special having a Compact Bible to enjoy. I love how easy they are to tote around and bring with me where ever I go. Thank you for your review. I so enjoyed it. God bless you!

I love my baby KJV Bible. Small print but easy to read. Wish I could find a baby CSB Bible.

I have compact NLT but in navy blue. I also have a large print NIV compact with a single column format and 12 point font.

Last year I started attending a church where the pastor preaches from the NKJV so I got a little Maclaren like the one you showed. I got the faux leather version and it looks and feels beautiful and it's small enough that I can carry it in my purse. I'm able to read it just fine in a bright setting, but I have a little trouble seeing the text in our church's dimly lit auditorium.

@gadgetstop321 Try cutting a peice of black paper to put behind the page being read. It not only gets rid of ghosting but will help the text stand/pop out so you can see and read better. Might help 😁

I love small bibles. I like the 8pt type CSB LP Compact the most and have read it a lot. I have the 8 pt type ESV LP Compact which is ok for brief reading and taking to church but ghosting is a bit distracting. I have the old out of print small size ESV Heritage single column with 9pt type. I especially like reading psalms in this one because there's a lot of white space on the page, but the other sections are cramped, ..not enough white margin space. The new Heritage edition would probably be better but it's not as small of a bible as this old one. Mine is almost hand sized...an inch taller than my hand.

The only compact bible I ever owned was an NIV Giant Print Compact. It had an 11 point font. Was a little chunky monkey. I ended up giving it away but if I was to ever purchase another compact, it would be that one. With any bible nowadays I tend to buy only 10 point font or above. Though I will settle for 9 point if I really want the bible. Anything smaller than that just won't get used. I know a lot of people complain about font sizes in bibles, and though their complaints are valid. They should direct their complaints at the publishers and not at youtube reviewers. You do us a great service in reviewing bibles, and shouldn't feel you need to apoligize for reviewing bibles that have a smaller print. Always love your reviews. The Nlt with 10 point font is a nice compact option, very pretty too. 😁💖👍

@@leepfrog7405 thank you! I prefer a larger font as well, so I understand! The NIV Giant Print Compact sounds great, I will have to keep an eye out for that one.

Ok, in terms of being small, portable, and built with immaculate quality, I love my Humble Lamb HIStory. Its my #1 portable without a doubt. Mind you, it isnt my favorite translation! But it is my favorite Bible.
