Hi, what about business name, is it same as company name. I don't have company name so nothing registered on companies house. I am registered as self employed sole trader with HMRC and have UTR. I do have trading as business name which I use on my invoices and letterheads. My question is when opening account with Amazon under Business do I use my personal name or I can use Trading as business name?

If you want to sell other brands products or unbranded "generic" products, then no you don't need a brand name. If you want to sell your own branded products, then of course you will need a brand name.

No I wouldn't! It can cause issues with Amazon brand registry. It's best practice to choose a unique brand name that no ones else is using on Amazon.

Their business bank accounts are free, so there is no charge. The only charges they have are transaction charges, which is pretty standard with most business bank accounts out there. I believe it is £0.20 per deposit made into the account or transfer made out of the account. Payments made using the card have no fees.
