Almost a lakh rupees of difference over the on-road price of both Sportz and Magna and almost 2 lakhs of difference between the Asta and Magna. Hyundai has substantially increased the price tag of i20 for sure! Earlier iterations of i20 or most of the other vehicles used to have most of the features (specially the safety ones) in their top model only. The feature set along with the required safety of the new i20 Magna is comparable to the Sportz/Asta models of yesteryears i20 model. Hence, the Magna model of the new i20 still seems to be a decent buy, considering what it brings now as feature set over a price point. And personally, I don't like the overdose treatment of chrome inserts wherever possible. Non-chrome design with black or body colored inserts look much better over colors like White or Red colored i20.

I20 or Nexon (petrol)in terms of driving quality, engine performance, plastics quality, space. Please don't consider safety star ratings here. I20 sportz cost 9lac and Nexon XM costs around 9.5lac

If you know how to drive a car then you don't need a reverse camera at least for an I20. Projector headlamps, foglamps back seat headrests are much better features.

My point of you is if you want petrol car then sportz varient is more then good , you got almost every thing in sportz no need for asta it just had alloy wheels that is not necessary. If you want Diesel car Magna varient is best because it gives 1.5L Diesel engine in 9 laks no car in this segment with these features is available. All are above 11 lakhs.

@@innocentboy6286 you talk about body ? hope you know how much grand i10 nios got in crash test ( 2 stars - same as swift ) , and new i20 built has been degraded and kerb weight is reduced by 100 kgs, so it'll most probably get 3 stars max (same as Baleno). With this we can conclude hyundai is also following path of maruti to increase sales in India and also makes new "Tin Cans" you call !! I know old i20 build was better compared baleno but do some research about new i20 before taunting other brands. Also I mentioned Altroz, which you didn't consider ? Scared about tata fans lol ?

@@orlinadson1141 first of all the new i 20 has not gone through any crash test yet, plus for your kind information reducing kerb weight does not mean to reduce quality, High speed steel is much lighter and stronger then aluminium alloy which beleno is made from . And remember nexa cars are now manufacturing in india and they are not providing quality as per as its cost local low class plastic, aluminium tin sheet , plus low quality battery. Hyundai may take little bit more money but it gives what he take. Maruti just made car for sales and easily compromise on quality, its like oppo phone , with high features and low quality.
