The MANTIS short range protection system NBS C-RAM is a stationary air short range air defense system. It can be used against small targets such as drones / UAVs and guided missiles as well as against RAM targets : rockets, artillery shells and mortars. C-RAM stands for Counter-Rocket, Artillery and Mortar.

I love to make these simulation videos for you and I am happy that you all like them a lot! The graphics of Arma are very good, it almost looks like in real life. Rather simulations than real war!
I definitely don't want to give the impression that I glorify war, I am just a enthusiastic gamer.
The weapon systems are of course used differently in real life, but I am happy to educate you about these weapons systems, many do not even know that they exist.

The aim of those CIWS are bad and it getting worse because its firing in burst mode :(

This is a game and it isn't realistic A CIWS is iven more capable against planes, because they are designed for intercepting misiles that are smaller and faster than a normal plane when it is attacking ground. This the Milenium or also called Mathis uses a 35mm round that is HEVT meaning that when the shell is close to the plane it will explote throwing hundreds of tungsten subcaliber projectiles

they would have "hit" irl because they basically saturate the area with a shit ton of submunitions, but ARMA can't calculate that resonably

It is not ment to hit it directly with the main round They release tungsten subrounds in an dense cloud which will cause alot of damage

@@luisporras2590 los misiles lograrian darle. Una nave puede ver las blas acercarse o saber que le apuntan y maniobrar para que las balas no le caigan. Un misil es más complicado de esquivar.
