Thanks for that video. I enjoy hearing info on machines from the people who operate them rather than someone who sells them. Especially stuff like this and the one where you had to replace the battery, that kind of info is something I wouldn't have thought of in looking at equipment. (Like I found that replacing a fan belt on my dozer actually required half a day's work and disassembly of most of the front of the machine. )

We have 2 TL12R2 machines now and they are great. Bought one last year and put 1,500 hrs on it the first year so we decided to buy a second one last month. Love the new improvements on the cab and love the smoother ride on the tracks without the metal plates for the rollers to run on. Side note, the rear doors are way too thin. Definitely don’t do well when guys back into thing. Our older TL130 and TL230 can back into a concrete wall and barely leave a scratch. Do that with a new one and you’ll be buying a new door and radiator.

You definitely went over most everything. I definitely prefer the vertical lift especially if you're loading trucks because it gets the bucket further and closer to the center of the bed and also lifts higher. The extra cost of the high flow made me just stick with the standard flow because you can get most attachments in a standard flow nowadays, mulchers and asphalt grinders are about the only thing you can't get in a standard flow and I don't do enough of it to justify the cost, if I do I just rent a machine for the specific job. I wished you could get them in a glider like they used to do with big trucks because the emissions are nothing but trouble and costly not to mention fuel efficiency is almost half of the pre emissions engines. Caterpillar used Perkins for year's and switched to Kubota engines and I didn't like the Kubota at all compared to the Perkins it used twice the fuel and I had constant problems with the fuel system and particulate filter plugging up because you had to run it wide open to keep it hot or it'd plug up, probably why it used twice as much fuel. Great video on the comparison!

I’m going to get a high flow 12R2. The high flow is about $2k-$3k more and the V2 is also me expensive. I think 2010. Because my 240. Which is a 140 size is a 10 . I like the new tracks that run on rubber . Not the plates. I watch this twice. I want a new one 👍
@eliteearthworksllc3 жыл бұрын
Ok cool I couldn’t remember. Yes the tracks are great so quiet and smooth. Thanks for the comment man

Ok, so the 250 goes up a few inches higher.....well we know a few more inches makes a all the difference. The TL12 is a nice machine but she has a wider rear end with a bigger back door 😂😂😂
@mrs.eliteearthworks3 жыл бұрын
😂 let’s not forget that the 250 has also been a very reliable (faithful) hoe. Shouldn’t go replacing it with a flashy younger, oops I mean NEWER, model 😉

Better off with the yanmar engine.
@eliteearthworksllc Жыл бұрын
They both are kubota engines mines got 9400 hours on it right now with no major problems. The yanmars were good but they stopped putting them in the loaders when the 250 came out in 2011
