Bonne vidéo Eden ! 👌 For anyone who is trying to improve their French listening level - turn on the FRENCH SUBTITLES. As Eden speaks, read the French subtitles. This means you are essentially reading & listening to French at the same time. 2x the LEARNING. 2x the help when you have trouble understanding what she is saying. I know that building up a good listening level is difficult. My students often have problems understanding spoken French. The best thing I help them with is having them slow down a video like this one here, and reading the French subtitle sentence 1 by 1, listening to each word as they are pronounced. I know that listening to French without subtitles is difficult because when you miss even just 1 word, then the whole sentence doesn't make sense to you. Instead of getting frustrated and thinking the French level is too hard for you, simply turn on French subtitles and read the French while you are listening. Hope that is helpful for some of you. Rory ☺

Merci Eden, c'est une video tres utile. This video perfectly explains the difference between the two levels and I will take note as I am currently in that A2/B1 middle ground. A good metaphor is that A2 is like English food, plain and simple and B2 is like French food with a lot more flavour and seasoning lol.
@LearnToFrench3 ай бұрын
Hahaha, thank you for the metaphor! I think it's spot on 🤭 P.S. I'm sure there are great options in English food though, we just don't know about them much? 😂

Salut Eden. Une excellente vidéo, très encourageante pour moi. Je suis seulement "A0", peut-être "A0,5" mais j'ai pu 50% de mots "A2" (sans subtitles), 20-30% de "B1". J'aime beaucoup vos vidéos de dictée, je les ai toutes faites, elles ont ètè une grande aide. Question: est-ce que "je suis A1" ou "j'ai A1"? "Have" would be correct in english.
@LearnToFrench3 ай бұрын
Merci beaucoup pour le gentil commentaire et bravo pour l'exercice 🥰 en français, je pense que le mieux serait de dire : j'ai un niveau A1. Comme en anglais, "I have".

Thank you for your kind video. However, the reflection of the ring of lights in you glasses throughout the video were disturbing. And when you constantly move your head, the rings moved too. So it is distracting for the audience. Next time, either don't wear glasses, wear contact lenses or remove the lights from creating a reflection. Cheers.

Why you speak eanglish? If someone learn french wants to listen french. I can learn rather eanglish with your video than french.
