yes! the "noisy zipper" - I totally agree - not just zipping it open / shut but the clinky-ness of things. Zippers seem super heavy too.

Hi. This video probably popped up because I was googling personal size item to fit under an airline seat. Do you think the medium would be too big to fit under the seat in front of me vs the small being not big enough? I have the extra small which was on summer sale for $50 but that just arrived today and is good for a travel day into the city but too small overall. Thanks

I have never had an issue with the medium being too big for under the seat. There has always been more than enough space that I actually think the large would also work as a personal size item as long as you don’t over fill it. I have mostly flown with Canadian airlines the last few years and never had an issue with the medium bag.

I’ve flown with the large and the medium. You can fit both under the seat in front of you. Medium is a guaranteed fit; I just wouldn’t fill the large up all the way. They’ve both held up very well on road trips and flights.

One of the hardest things with these Dagne Dover bags (also Bellroy Tokyo Tote) is when I purchase the large version, I end up wanting a smaller version too! haha...and when I am in the smaller version I then end up wishing I had the larger or else I'd just be swapping purses all the time because the large just fits more. (For this, I am speaking of the Allyn Tote. Since the medium size feels just as heavy with my items in it, I feel I might as well carry the large all the time, since at least have the option of filling it with more stuff. but then again, the Large Allyn tote is 3 lbs without anything in it. ) *The Biggest Mistake Dagne Dover made is not making the laptop sleeve inside the Allyn Tote "removable" and I do not understand why even years later they are still not fixing this. Also, that phone pocket on the exterior, yes it fits my 12 Pro Max with a case but trying to get it out - it's a little snug and I gotta kinda "dig" to grab it. really wish they would fix these issues....i feel like they are dragging out any updates FOREVER so they can sell more bags, which is why I buy used from Poshmark instead of buying brand new so I can really "try" the style or size before later maybe buying it brand new. I just got my Landon Carryall in Medium from Poshmark specifically for a personal item on a plane that can also double as my daily bag once I get to London but not sure if this could be a true "everyday" purse. Now that I love my Landon, here I am looking for videos on how much smaller the "small" is compared to my medium to see if I wanted to buy the SMALL as a "running errands" or "every day carry EDC" bag.

I think it depends on how much stuff you carry around on the daily. For myself, I've become a bit lazy and I don't like carrying a heavy purse while running errands. I also found I really only carry my wallet, keys and phone so there is no need for all that extra space so the small works my daily needs. That's such a great idea though to purchase on Poshmark to see if I like the bag overall first💕

Will the medium for a 14” laptop

Hello, yes a 14” laptop will fit in the laptop sleeve. However, it will be a bit snug and your laptop will not as easily go in or come out of the sleeve as a 13” laptop or tablet. Hope this helps you!

Unfortunately, I don't think a 13" laptop will fit in the SM, I can barely get my Ipad Pro to fit in that one. Hope this helps you!

It will definitely not fit in the laptop sleeve, but it should fit in the bag overall.
