the opening of Prada Paradoxe Intense is very similar in DNA with the opening but omg...that dry down. it's a completely different fragrance. i get a lite smoky, woody, ambery, musky scent that's seductive and sexy. serves Autumn campfire vibes to me, perfect for Fall and Winter. better than the original imo. it's the moss note for me.

Ooooooh Beyond Romance sounds good and I’ve heard good things about it. I’m going to have to try it. I don’t think I’ve ever finished a perfume, not even a travel size - what’s with the mentality that I need to “save” it? Maybe I’m afraid they will be discontinued or reformulated- every single time I decluttered a fragrance (even VS body mists) they become discontinued or smell nothing like the old one (I gave VS Heavenly to my sister, as well as Very Sexy for Her, which are totally different notes, and I thought I could just get another one on sale). Preferences change too (obviously) because now I can actually stand some florals (white), while syrupy roses make me nauseous. I could not stand My Way but I craved the bubble gum part of it, so I tried Nectar and liked it - then the Parfum and it’s sweet and spicy, less musky than I expected (haven’t worn it all day) - is it the combination of tuberose and jasmine that put people off, or orange flower? I know jasmine can be indolic or fresher, so I don’t know what turned me off - but I like Marc Jacobs Perfect and Perfect Intense which have indolic jasmine. On the other hand Alien chokes me out. I’m on the fence about Nemat Jasmine Blossom from Ulta - it’s orange blossom and jasmine and it’s very crisp and clean - I like it better dried down where it smells fresh and clean to me, but I would have never in a million years bought it even 6 months ago - have you smelled it? I bet it’s good for layering, I just need to figure out what they would go with to elevate or mellow my sweeter than sweet ones. What’s your favorite Tocca fragrance?

OMG girl! Finally somebody said it! Paradoxe Intense is a toned down version of the og, it's a bit more well-blended too! I find the og Paradoxe a bit too sharp and rough, I couldn't handle it, it was a bit much for my nose. I love the intense though, that moss and neroli combo is addictive! I'm also IN LOVE with DBIR Intense, I have and I really like the og, but the intense has me in a choke hold and I just cannot live without it!

Thanks for the comparison! I thought Donna born in roma intense was really good as well. Also, I was excited to get a back up bottle recently of JPG la belle fleur Terrible. It's on of my favorites.

I purchased Good Fortune during Ulta 21 days of beauty. It was a blind buy. First try I didnt like. Packed it up ready to take back. It had been some time and I was ready to return but tried again and really love it now!

I love watching you describe fragrances:) Great video as always! I have Donna Born in Roma and the Original Paradox… I wear them to work a lot because their super inoffensive being that I’m a server around people eating… I get a ton of compliments on Donna… I’ve heard that I smell like candy or like vanilla… neither I feel are “me” but I like them:) I’ve been thinking about either getting glossier u or omnia crystalline for work.. I watched you talking about them in your musk video… which would u pick? I haven’t smelt either of them..most of the perfumes I have I blind buy… lol! I do wear Versace Crystal noir to work sometimes, but not sure if I should be! Lol! But I LOVE that one!

I got the same reaction from DBIR intense as you did from Good Fortune Intense Elixir..cat urine all the way😂 I just purchased Good Fortune Intense Elixir and I love it! I get a heavy jasmine, spicy, sweet vanilla on my skin. Funny how it works all so differently on us❤

What do you suggest to tone down the Jasmine in BIR Intense? I like it but it's just a little too much sometimes for me. I want to make it sweeter because I am a gormand girly lol

Vanilla. I don't layer but something vanilla for sure.

I layer it with mix bar bourbon vanilla it toned it down.

I feel like you are one of the few to like la belle terrible, the opinion was incredibly split and I never got to try it. Did you try Gaultier Divine?

I finished my bottle of beyond Romance before leaving Puerto Rico and I wore it so much I needed a little break but now you made me miss it 🤣 omg I’m shocked you love the born in Roma intense, I wish I could smell it on you haha! On me it is horribleee!! 🥲🥲 I am curious about the Paradoxe intense, I might pick up a travel size of that one. Great video love! 🥰❤️
