Just returned from L'auberge...It was amazing. I walked over to the Nugget and you were correct, it does feel a bit more regal. I loved both properties. I am not big on gambling but did play the slots. I had a great time by the pool and enjoying the restaurants.

I live in Lake Charles and the L' Auberge Lazy River is a no go for locals. Referred to as the Lazy Urinal!

Probably L’auberge- the casino floor there was hopping A LOT more than Golden Nugget imo or at least from what I could see

So I think there was a bus pre-COVID but someone said it doesn’t run anymore. If you go to the backside of the Golden Nuggett then there is a really beautiful walkway next to the river that is nice to walk there. You can ask the concierge when you get there though, I could have sworn our host (the tourism board) said that there was a car
