When will you guys be 100% compatible with Silicon Mac? I bought Komplete 14 Collectors edition when it dropped and still some of the instruments, such as Prime Bass or Electric Mint don't fully work with the new Apple computers. I sure am looking forward to those updates!

The new Komplete Kontrol software is a mess, it crashes constantly and is way less user friendly than the previous version. Not being able to browse the presets is obnoxious.

I haven't finished using the Free Komplete start yet to be honest it took 30gigs of data to fully install those and 25 which was also free. This free stuff was free to increase the likelihood that the user will want to upgrade and I probably will at some point just not yet.

Hello NI team, I'm a producer and I'd like to write industrial and dark electro songs (like the artist Author and Punisher, Zardonic, Skynd for instance), Big Drums, Fat and Distorted basses, experimental stuff, I'm interested about Komplete but everybody told me that your product is more oriented Urban & Hip hop music actually. Is it true? Also I'd like to be more focus on my creativity. I'm thinking about buying a Kontrol S49 Mk2 (don't like the Mk3 at all), I suppose that the NI workflow and mentality are to prioritize on the creativity instead of tweaking stuffs with the mouse :)

Go with Komplete Ultimate 14 or Collectors Edition this will be what your genres of music will fall into, Standard version is more geared towards rap hip hop rock alt rock . If I may say from a fellow musician with sales experience …. you would be remissed about the S88 Mk3- remember more is more - what we want is a better workflow and integration with the hardware that will ultimately unlock greater creativity - IMHO the very notion that going forward is going backwards ,such as the Mk3 S88 ,is likened to being stuck in quick stand that leads to backward thinking that the very notion that it will stifle any innovative creativity is a bit premature until you try the Mk3 and new Komplete Kantact 7 workflow - it just might yet allow leaps and bounds to take place for creativity - just like when digital and daws starting to come out - the industry musical purists had pitch forks and torches out that analog is the preferred method . Neigh to digital and those using it! yet look where we are today , digital exploded and can’t put the tooth paste back in once making more music became extremely effecient and productive. I feel and your milage may vary , that NI and the S88 Mk3 is the companies mindset to improve what upon what came before - Akai MPC 3.0 is a prime example of this forward thinking as well

Please let us know if Maschine will be updated : all it needs is pitch stretching in the sampler, few fx improvements and better automation or (automation clips) I worry about NI abandoning Maschine since all my stuff is made in it : I use nothing else Cheers 🥂

@@Lautarotanok No but, I've been asking for pitch stretching built in to the sampler, graphic amplitude envelope in the editor, ability to copy midi clips to any instrument track and finally linear automation for past 8/9 years : so I no longer participate : if I was a NI crew member : those would be the priorities on the board : just take a look at other programs : they all received massive updates : Maschine trickles little bits and pieces ..... still stuck on V 2. A decade of waiting is a long time ... Cheers 🥂

@@EBMZEQUENZER hey bro no disrespect and I know it’s tough wanting changes that better suit workflows and your overall experices - yet please take a moment to understand you are not going to build a house with just one tool such as a hammer 🔨 …you are going to need multiple tools to get the job done . Why? Because each tool is designed for its job to do the best . Just get multiple tools, I did …I too have Akai MPC products to fill in any gaps from Native Instruments or vice versa.

Quick question.... I've been thinking of buying a Maschine Mk3, I'm fairly new to NI bundles and I've just started with Komplete Now to test the waters. Maschine Mk3 states it comes with Komplete for HW? Does this mean it's hardware locked or can it be used natively in Cubase?

Even when I'm not using maschine, I guess I'm confused over what the 'HW' signifies in the software that comes with maschine over the regular package

@@NativeInstruments no sorry, there's some real confusion here... I thought maschine came with kontakt 7, not kontakt player? I've tried looking online and these packages are just confusing, even owners don't seem to know what they have and what they can or cannot use. My initial question was about the "HW" being added after the software package description, making me think that the kontakt or komplete whatever comes with it is hardware bound only and won't be able to be used in a daw standalone, but after some digging I'm not even sure it comes with with the full Kontakt now.

Fast forward to January 20th 2024 and the S88 MK3 arrives to me with 4 month delay & functionality issues and NO Maschina integration. The LED screen is flickering. 4 month delay and still is released with quality issues. So disappointed .

Depends what your needs are - if needing more orchestral instruments and cinematic composing - go with Collectors. If score composition is needed yet you can live without multiple additional string instruments, multiple brass/wind instruments as well as can live without the choir voice plugins then hurrah you found your package that works for you - which would be Ultimate
