Hi Nick, thanks for watching. I agree with you, but I have to admit, the TMCC control is also a very nice feature of the new Ballast Tamper.

Very cool video Ed!! I’m partial to the #54 Ballast Tamper myself. Seeing the tampers running off of a camshaft to move them up and down quickly looks fantastic. The newer TMCC has its cool features like you explained as well, but the tampers move up and down too slowly, and looks sluggish compared to the #54. As far as turning On or Off the tampers manually on the TMCC model, it has a Swing Latch on the opposite side of the PRG/RUN Switch that you would turn up, and you could click the switch to the opposite side to either turn it On or Off.
