You are very informative and I just want to say thank you very much. Your video quality was very clear I could see it if you could do it a few more times to keep us up-to-date on what's going out there from each year that would be awesome thanks again

Thanks for helping people not get ripped off. I've seen "new" sellers on eBay selling fake Eagles several times the past several years. They sell Lots of 10 or more for Spot or even a few dollars less than Spot and the buyers just dive right in every time. Unfortunately you can't warn anyone on eBay before it's too late. It's impossible sometimes to know for sure they're fake too because they'll use stock photos of real Eagles. In those cases I've "watched" them just to monitor the reviews and sure enough, the negative reviews come streaming in.

I find that the star field in the flag never looks right in the fakes. That date was crazy huge. It's good to show stuff like that, there are lots of novices that get taken by the lure of cheap silver.

Ben! PLEASE tell me you mixed up Right and Left when describing the proofs in the coin capsules. at 2:28 you call the right side coin the counterfeit. But then pick up the left coin (which I assumed was the real coin) and described how good it was !? Then pick up the right side coin and call it the counterfeit? But it was far better. Just tell me you goofed so I can sleep tonight. 😯

Now I’m really confused ! The coin on the right is the counterfeit- I am describing it and then pick up the coin on the left and describe it as real- did I clear it up?

On the obverse the flag is always weird on counterfeits. The texture pattern and the stars are too strong. On the reverse the shield is always flat instead of raised. Frustrating we have to watch for these!!
