this is the second video that talked about the restrictions in Palm Coast. When we were looking in the C section, there were several, like many many houses with boats or commercial trucks parked.

We are full 94,080 population. They are building homes like crazy and NOT stopping.

Bunnell next to Palm Coast will be interesting in the next few years,it is the 2nd largest incorporated in area next to Jacksonville with about 140 square miles which was mostly annexed after 2000 but only has about 3,000,it's the County Seat of Flagler County,the advantages of Bunnell could be better affordability and less restrictions,that area will eventually grow,an interesting alternative from St.Augustine and Palm Coast.

It will be interesting to see. Developers have started buying large parcels of land in Palm Coast recently. I know DR Horton opened up a beautiful community in Bunnell as well. I also just read they are putting a new hospital in for the area. I imagine we will see Palm Coast developed before long

Thank you for your great video. I’ve been deciding between the two. I have a friend in St Augustine and she loves it. Her house is huge. I am leaning toward Palm Coast. Some people don’t like all those restrictions but I’m OK with it because it keeps the area looking nice. The only thing that concerns me is you can only have the moving pod there for seven days. I’m coming in from WA State.

Palm Coast is the goofiest city in Volusia county. I have lived in Ormond Beach for 10 years and thought about moving to Palm Coast...but I decided against it once I realized how odd it is there.

Last year I purchased a .29 acre corner lot in Palm Coast and am getting house plans drawn up right now. Hopefully by the holidays construction can start and by next summer be moved in. What I find interesting and that is so different from California (where I live) is that most homes are built on a lot that the homeowner purchases and then hires a contractor to build on. Most new homes here are in subdivisions that are fully developed all at once. Basically, my home has vacant tree covered lots on the back and side and it may be years before they're ever built on. I really like that Palm Coast is right between Daytona Beach and St. Augustine. While it may just have chain restaurants and stores for the most part, those two easily assessible cities add lots of shopping, dining and entertainment options. Very much looking forward to moving there next year. Oh, and I purposely looked for a high and dry lot that does not have any flood danger on the west side of 95. After watching the news out here about Ian I'm glad I did!!

Yea there are only a few small builders in the area. You will find a lot of builders own lots throughout palm coast and will build their floorplans on it. Which builder did you go with?

I first moved to Palm Coast in '98. The "L" section maybe had 30 homes. Indian Trails was an awesome school. Soon lots were being bought and bulldozed at an alarming rate. We got out of there. Now it is like that everywhere🤮

We moved back up to St. Augustine in 2004 out passed the airport. At that time it was still relatively rural. Over the last 18 months that has changed drastically as well. 😫

Living in St Augustine, it's great ,there's more life just to walk to historic area more restaurants, more stores,Palm coast, there's not much to do,about entertainment, but property went very high, comparing with Palm Palm,there more affordable,.

I don't believe there are any rules about what you can garden. Especially if it is in your backyard behind a fence. They do care about chickens in Palm Coast. Just give your neighbors eggs and you will probably be fine 🙂

I live in PC c section. I did not feel Styling got just how nice PC is. Within 1 mile of my house 1 traditional store ck. So my drive home almost to my door is trees and water and manicured pubic land. Google maps is your friend it is about the only way to find anything. PC does not have much nightlife or day life but Daytona and St Aug are 30 minutes away

This video's information is rapidly becoming outdated with respect to Palm Coast. If you get the impression that Palm Coast is mostly single-family homes, this is largely correct, however this is changing day by day as new town home and apartment complexes are being constructed. The city seems to be growing southward, but there are new communities popping up even in the north end. There are even multi-family dwelling being built along the inter-coastal of all places. We moved to Palm Coast because you just could not find anything remotely worth the asking money in St. Augustine that suited me. Although I really hate HOA's, I do find the city to be much nicer without cars parking on the narrow residential streets and boats and RV's in everyone's driveways. The rule about service vehicles is really dumb.

That's true! This video is over a year old; I should make an update to it. It is changing and will be a more affordable option for people vs. St Augustine. They needed some more housing that isn't single family

And there is especially nothing to do in Palm Coast it’s basically just a sleepy retirement beach community. But hey, if both of those are your thing then go for it. The only time I make to to St Augustine is maybe to fish off porpoise point
