I do a high-level overview comparison of Statis Pro Baseball to Payoff Pitch. While I don''t consider myself to be an authority on either game, I do think I know each game well enough to give a quick overview and comparison of the games.

This is hands-down without a doubt the best review I have ever seen! I can't tell you how many videos I have watched to try to get some idea about the statistical accuracy of baseball classics. Your review answers every question anybody who enjoys these games could ask. As I said so many reviews I see out there are just basic and don't tell you anything that you couldn't figure out just by looking at a companys website. You answered all the questions I had and then some. Thank you so much for doing a phenomenal job!

I have newer versions of Statis-Pro from Derrick Beckner and Brian Yonushonis and they are fantastic. Joe Bryan From Payoff Pitch unfortunately has some health issues and we are all praying for him

Both good games. The best quality for the money of all baseball Sims. In my limited experience, I've found Statis Pro a bit more accurate. And with optional charts and rules, Statis Pro seems to involve more player ratings more often. The mechanics of the at bat are more fun in Payoff Pitch. Great video!

Got PDF stuff a plenty for Payoff Pitch but still haven't played it. Reason being is the darn PC games make it so easy to quickly play while tabulating stats and some of the PC games even allow you to roll real dice and enter the results. Love that. Still though there is something to be away from a digital screen, handling real cards and rolling the dice. I get it. I have enjoyed the few times I have done it with Strat and would do it more if I had a cozier gaming room to escape into. Basement apartment rental is just not cutting it anymore. Also eh honestly if I wasn't in Canada I would have ordered printed versions of some games including some stuff from Payoff Pitch. So many times I get it into the cart and then figure out the conversion from US to Canadian and then see the shipping and empty the cart. Happens with so many stores when it comes to this hobby. Now as for printing them off myself I haven't tried to print them off on card stock but have the material. I am afraid to screw it up. LOL! So anyway eh thanks for the vid showing a comparison and enjoy the hobby. I would enjoy it more if in the PC games the AI wasn't so dumb at times.

I love Payoff Pitch...getting through the season won't be a problem for me. But, printing off an entire season will be a pain. I'll give it a go, though, because the company has temporarily stopped shipping pre-printed cards.

I know it sucks trying to buy stuff in the US and paying for shipping, customs and then the dreaded conversion from US$ to CND$. I tried buying a season from one company and the shipping and customs worked out to more than the cost of the cards. Too bad.

Bob, great video! I have both games. Many season sets for Strat, Statis-Pro and Payoff Pitch. I have all the 70's for Statis-Pro and all available for Strat and Payoff Pitch. 1978 season was my first for Statis-Pro just like you. FAC are very similar for SP and Payoff Pitch in many ways. I have 1971, 1972,1973, 1977-79 whole sets for Strat-O-Matic. How's your 1979 World Series replay without my Pirates lol!

I forgot who won that World Series. I THINK it was Baltimore. Steve Stone pitched a no-hitter in either the ALCS replay or the World Series.

With all do respect Bob, I’m not going to comment on these two games, In my opinion, Strat Baseball Rules the table top baseball game market, Its clearly the most realistic game in many ways. Thanks Bob
