The older GLE coupe was a very popular vehicle. I would see one just about everywhere in Atlanta. I’m hoping that the newly refreshed 2021 model is just as big of a hit with its all new interior and front/rear facia design !!!! One day in the near future, my mom is going to trade in her 13’ GLK350 4matic for a new GLC and I would only want to work with you 😬 Keep up the great content

Give me the 43 with the analog gauges anytime. I don’t want to feel like I’m driving a pinball machine. The 43 is a much more refined vehicle. The grille and the overall design is far nicer than the 53. The windshield rake alone on the 43 is far superior from a design and aerodynamic aspect as well. Find a low mileage black 2019 with all the options include the night package and you’ll fall in love (and save about $15K over a 2021/22). As my Mom says, “There ain’t nothing wrong with that car”. The car is far more imposing in darker colors and definitely has a presence. The 53 is kinda meh. NOTE: The lift gate on the 2019 does open and close remotely as well. Just push the remote button to open and push again to close. You might want to check the battery in your key fob.

@@briandavis7490 i DONT seem to see the aggressiveness needed to feel like a masculine vehicle. Whereas the new one you can see aggressiveness right away. Previous model looks like a woman’s car. I will be swapping next month

Certain colors look more aggressive than others. For example the white one and the reddish one to me are the "chick" colors. But the darker colors seem more masculine. The grill on the 2019 seems more masculine/aggressive to me. The 53 to me looks more like a female truck. The grill makes it look softer to me. I would have to change the grill if I bought the 53.

But the way you have them parked I'm like damn the 2019 is so much longer. hahahaha I see why you did it but I was confused for a minute and it doesn't take much. I have the 2022 53 coupe in Obsidian Black. I have the black package with the red caliper brakes. I have 22" wheels and they are big but you SHOULD NOT get them if you live in cold climate weather because they just expand even bigger until they warm up and turning causes lurching due to rubbing until they calm down. Red and black Nappa leather interior and I've put in the order to have them have the Mercedes badge on the front grill light up at night. Due to Covid that had to be put on hold for some reason. Also, the wrapped my steering wheel in the same material part of my seat is made of and that part is not leather I don't know what they call it. I'd rather have the Nappa wrapped seat but they called what I have an upgrade. Sometimes sales people tell you what you want to hear but not you of course. hahaha....Anyway, I picked up Trelane, yes I name my cars and they had a big red bow on it when I arrived. I got emotional because I had just gotten into an accident due to hydroplaning and rain and totaled my 2018 BMW X6 So I've been heartbroken for a while. I had just paid off that car $80,000 and had nothing to show for it and that hurts. So I decided on the 53 coupe. It took forever to get him due to Covid but now I do. The final cost including the maintenance package and wheel coverage was $104,333 but it was worth every penny I would say. the engine crackles alone in S+ mode, makes me laugh like a little boy. hahahah

And the EQ boost gives you 21 more HP but you knew that. hahahaha Interior for the 2019 well I'm glad they made a change for my car. People who have a con about the updated coupe is that the two screens are outdated even now. So when I turn mine in let's say in ten years I can't wait to see what the interior will look like...if God willing I'm alive at that time. One cannot assume anything these days due to Covid. One more thing the 53 has a button in the trunk cargo area to lower the car suspension so let's say my mom wants to put in some heavy bags but the car sits too high up for her, she is 80 so I can lower the car with that cargo button and the tail end lowers and then I can reset and have the car raise back up. You can do this back there and inside up front as well.

She’s definitely a sale’s person 😂😂 trying to sale the ‘53 . I test drove both . I liked the larger screen in 53 but not digital look for odometer. The 43 trunk easily lowers with key fob . Also my hubby 6’5 and could not sit as comfortable in 53 . We ended up purchasing the 43 in black . I love it !!

Mercedes started using synthetic leather in the 1960s. The MB tex material is more durable, more environmentally friendly and more affordable.

The sales people try to tell you how much better it is (because it’s all they got left on the lot), but as soon as you buy it then try to trade it in later, the first thing they tell you is that it has fake leather, so the demand is low because everyone wants real leather when they’re paying that type of money for a luxury car 🤷🏼‍♂️. And as a result, they’re going to have to give you bottom dollar for your trade-in.
