The Farming Life I know we all have to worry about money but I’d go for the R series because this is a huge investment over several years. I’d honestly think about buying one that’s Greenstar compatible so soul sampling, tissue testing, etc. so I’d could use it in the farm too.

@@RandWFarmstead-TonyWalsh I absolutely agree with you with the R series. I would love to find a used one with a few hours on it. Lot of money. My boy works hard on here on the farm and I would like to get him one. Have a great evening

One issue I see is John Deere, the inventor of the side-by-side or UTV, has lost so much market share. At the same time, they came up with so many models. Everyone knows a Polaris Razor is for sport, Polaris Ranger for work. But what’s the difference between the, what, dozen different Gator model numbers? The model numbers constantly change until, like Star bellied Sneetches, no one knows which one was what one, or what one was which one, and every time you need a part, your local dealer tells you they need to order it, including simple maintenance items. There are more issues, but ask yourself why did John Deere go from 100% segment market share to struggling to maintain a double digit 10% market share as Polaris, who came years late to the party, now has 45% market share and Cam-Am also passed John Deere, into the #2 position at 14% market share? Doesn’t it make the John Deere stockholders question what is going on now that Kubota, in a very short time, has almost as much market share as John Deere? Arctic Cat, Honda, Yamaha, and Kawasaki all have achieved at least 3% share with very limited offerings. Dear John Deere marketing, do fewer things, but do them better then anyone else.

Im glad they don't have the RSX850i, wasn't a very good machine. rest of the machines seemed to be good.
