THANK YOU FOR THIS REVIEW!!! We have 8 kids. Always thought monitors were for paranoid first timers… but now lookin because our almost 7 year old has epilepsy and stopped breathing in her sleep during a seizure. Had it not been for big sis, she could be dead. We currently have her sleeping with us so we wake up at every little change (we’re a bit on edge) in her. So many options, and the only one we know much about is the owlet! Trying to do the best thing for our baby girl! We love our kids… but mostly we love them ALIVE. ❤

You’re welcome. I would consider the Nanit. The Nanit comes with cloth bans with Velcro. In theory you could actually Velcro 2 of them together to make a bigger band to wrap around your child. I will say the Nanit also is only “supposed” to go up to 24 months, but one band fits around my 3 1/2 year old. Also talk to your Pediatrician about Owlet. There is a medical one, I’m not sure if it’s any different. I wish you the best.

Update: We got the eufy smart sock and the socks that came with it were too small. Cut a hole in a sock I knew was pretty tight on my kids, and it works like a charm! I cut the hole small enough it was a struggle to put the sensor in the hole. Just have to look up age appropriate heart rates and SpO2 levels for the age group and adjust the sensitivity accordingly. Side benefit: we get a verbal confirmation the sock has been removed when she gets up, so we also know when she’s up in the morning.

You said you at about 12:00 that Nanit didn't have any subscription costs. Did you mean to say the Owlet doesn't have a subscription cost?

Thought for sure the owlet was the best option but the eufy looks great as well. The camera and sock bundle are 240 dollars. The camera has 360 degree rotation and tilt and ai motion tracking functionality. It also boasts a 4k camera with 8x zoom. Thanks for putting that great product on my BM list!!
