I really like the retired version because it just looks very antique and authentic as for the new version it kinda looks like a normal bag..... but i did like both and was also very happy that original was made by a single woman in India and she definitely needs recognition for the amazing handwork.....

I think for Harry Potter fans, younger than 18, the mass-produced bag is a better option, because the Old handmade bag cost now 500 dollars, and is really hard to find, which is not really something u could like ask for a birthday present, but If u have the money and want to spend it on the handmade bag, u really have to in my oppinion, I personally prefer the original, handmade bag, but It’s really hard to get in my country

The time and patience you take to explain the differences in the collectibles is greatly appreciated. As a new collector, I prefer to purchase items/merchandise which is high in quality and is as screen accurate as possible. This video has been enlightening because I had heard that Noble Collection had discontinued Hermione's bag some time ago before I even knew Noble Collection existed, but whom I quite familiar with now, LOL. I have seen the new bag on their website, but seeing it up close and side by side with the original - there are no words. The handmade bag from India hands down. It matches the mood of the film.

I love these bags! I wanted one but never got around to purchasing one! I love the comparison, the mass produced bag made in China visually looks more appealing to me because the colors are more vivid & I love the shine. However! I must definitely appreciate the original bag made in India, I would put it on display in my office then I would probably use the mass produced bag for fun🤗

The original bag makes me really happy. It's more movie-accurate, and you can tell how much effort was put into it! As someone who sews, the original bag is really well done, it's beautiful! The new bag would be really good for cosplay or even for everyday use as a makeup bag or something of the sort, but I'd definitely put the original on a shelf to display, would not want to wear the fabric out!

Both bags are nice, but I prefer the handmade one, because it truly does look like it came straight out of the movie. Plus, you can tell that whoever made the handmade one took their time on it, just to get the details right, which is greatly apricated. When anyone makes something by hand, they put their hearts & souls into each piece that they might make, well, I know that's true for me at least. Hermione is actually my favorite character, so I would really love to win the Noble Collection one. I love all your video's Peter. Both of these bags are gorgeous! I think the old version of the bag looks more authentic to the movie prop - almost as though it was purchased in a vintage or second hand shop. I can imagine carrying the newer version around with all my own magical items inside on a day to day basis. Both would make a wonderful addition to the modern witch or wizard's collection. As an Indian potter head I feel proud of this bag. This kind of bag is quite common in India. We called it 'batua'. We actually carry this type of bags with our traditional wear 'shari'. That glossy bag can't take the place of the handmade one.

I LOVE the look and style of the original bag. That vintage, hand-made style suits Hermione's character so much, it literally looks like an old bag that a witch would've had in the Victorian era. The new bag, with the bright colours and satiny looking fabric is beautiful in it's own right though, and not gonna lie, is something I would constantly use in my everyday life haha

I love how artistic and lovely the retired bag is. You can see the time and effort put into it. However, (without the prior knowledge of the retired bag) the new one would stand on its own, it’s close enough to the source material, while also just being a beautiful fabric bag.
