I have a Yuhu and a Dayan. I like the Dayan a lot more because it's smaller and lighter. Also I replaced grey with black and tan with grey, since tan is too close to white for my liking. (Yuhu black caps are sold separately, but at a very reasonable price.) I average a bit over 2 minutes.

Nice. I'm down to about 2.5 mins. I still main the GAN Maglev Megaminx atm. Dayan is a close second for me though

Thank you! I really appreciate that! I'm actually pretty new to this. I didn't start making cubing content until a few weeks ago. Im excited to make plenty more though!

@@Fatrock1.0 Btw is x-man tornado v3 standard cube good for begginer like me my pb is 23.53 seconds and my average is 43.36

Honestly, I wouldn't buy a Tornado V3. The V4 comes out later this month and the V3 has some issues with quality. The MoYu RSM and GuHong pro are cubes I personally like and recommend.

Well always make sure you do your research! Make sure you think you'll like the cube you order.

for the YJ YuHu V2, have you tried lubing the springs? I had a similar problem, and I lubed the springs, and it sped up
@Fatrock1.0Ай бұрын
I have not tried that! I will have to try that and get back to you! Thank you for the suggestion!

Did the screw on your Yuhu got stuck? I had a cube that came so tight, the plastic on the core made cracking noises by just trying to loosen it, as it was a cheap cube I just gave up on it, but it would be really sad to give up on a decent megaminx just because of one side. My first megaminx was a Jiehui, it was terrible and locked up all the time, but it made me love megaminx back then, so I got the first GAN and my averages went from 5min to 2m30s in the span of a little over a week, then I worked my way down to about 2m07s, then I stopped practicing for almost two years after some stressful life events... recently I got back to megaminx, I'm nowhere near my old averages, right now my best ao12 is 3m11s and my current ao12 is 3m29s, but I haven't been practicing regularly. Haven't got a Yuhu to try it, but got a Dayan and the GAN Maglev, I loved the GAN, just like my old GAN, but even smoother, the Dayan is fine and I get similar averages on it, but I just like the smooth feel of the GAN a bit better than the crispy feel of the Dayan, otherwise it's also a great puzzle. Another one I got back when I was all hyped up was the Galaxy V2M, everybody said it was the best Megaminx back then, but I didn't like it very much. It was also too tight and even after loosening it a lot, it still felt too blocky and very heavy compared to the GAN. For me the worst part was that the Galaxy made my wrists ache after just a few solves, I had RSI and had to change my keyboard to an ergonomic one and move from a mouse to a trackball to avoid RSI issues, so for me a puzzle that gives me pain is a big no-no, I have no such issues with both the Dayan and the GAN.

The screw definitely isnt stuck. It turns. The side is just for some reason super tight no matter how loose I turn the screw. It's really odd. I was suggested to lube the spring inside of that side but I honestly haven't gotten to that yet. I agree that the smoothness of the GAN Maglev is amazing. That is by far my favorite megaminx. I recently started practicing gigaminx more now that I have the DianSheng Galaxy M one and my megaminx times have dropped from 3:30 to 2:30 in a few weeks. I don't know if I'll ever be sub 2 but I'm gonna try!

@Fatrock1.02 ай бұрын
@@StefanGameStudio Well, It's solved kind of like a 3x3! You solve a star, make pairs and insert them, and you do this making pairs and inserting until you get to the last layer and then there are a few beginners algorithms one can use. There is a set of full olls and plls for it though.
