Norm Spencer is definitely the definitive Cyclops voice. Kirby Morrow is a great young Scott, and James Marsden is a great live-action Cyclops, but Norm Spencer was spot on.

Norm Spencer is the voice that will always be Cyclops to me. It's the voice I grew up with, but, even objectively speaking, I think it fits the character the best and sounds the best in terms of acting (compared to the other short clips here).

Hm norm spencer or Nolan north when I imagine Scott's voice in current comics? Maybe Nolan since when I first sign up for marvel unlimited and read s read urn order form comic book herald to start at avengers disassemble and later first read Scott's voice first person to pop in my head to use is Nolan north. Older comics I see norm spencer fitting in with the character well.

Interesting fun fact: Bryan Singer originally had Chris Potter (voice of Gambit from X-Men 90s animated series) to audition for the live action role of Cyclops for the first X-Men movie. Chris Potter expressed no interests in that role and doesn't like to wear the dark visor the whole time so when he finds out he didn't get the part, he was relieved.

Any and every time I read a comic or anything with Cyclops in it I always read it with Norm Spencer’s voice in mind and I may get a lot of slack from this but it’s not only because of the animated series (well it’s most of the reason) because anytime I read anything with Wolverine I don’t hear they 90’s cartoon voice I always read it in Steve Blum’s voice (I think that’s how it’s spelled) but Cyclops is my favorite X-men member so I’ve almost watched and or played every platform that he’s been featured on to date and all I still hear is Norm Spencer he just made it so iconic that you can’t help but go directly to his voice lol
