OMG, YES to Jennifer Hale. I love the voice actor for Phoenix in Marvel vs Capcom 3 and when I watched XMen The (japanese) Anime, I KNEW i recognized that voice for Jean!! Best voice actor for her. PERIOD. perfect casting.

Catherine Disher wins since she got to voice Jean Grey as Phoenix and Dark Phoenix, Venus Terzo would've gotten that chance if X-Men Evolution had continued with a fifth season as originally planned. Jennifer Hale is great in Marvel v.s. Capcom 3, but she's had the misfortune of being in some of the lesser X-Men products cranked out after the movies and so she's been held back. It would be great if she got the chance to voice Jean in a major X-Men production that treated the character better.

Catherine Disher also did Jean Grey/Phoenix on Mutant Academy 1 not just the 2nd game :) She's my fav. I always thought her inspiration for doing the voice must have been from Capt. Kirk. The way they both talk is very similar. A strong pause in between words and just something sounds the same so I always think she's imitating that Kirk voice. :D

I grew up in the 90s and for me Catherine Disher is number 1, and for my second it has to be Jennifer Hale, she is an incredible voice actress and has an incredible vocal range. And Disher because her portrayal of the Phoenix is the best going from the sweet and loving Jean to the Phoenix then to Dark Phoenix is to this day incredible. And gives me goosebumps even now. Xxx

My Personal Opinions •She's got a lot of good ones. •Please tell me Jenette Goldstein was just going for Dark Pheonix. •Leigh Allyn Baker sounds like an A.I. programmed with a soothing voice or like the voice behind a video introduction of the school to a newbie. •Sarah Waits: Good for Dark Pheonix. •No real pizzazz from Molly Hagan. •Jennifer Hales: Good for a character that went through great hardship and serves a good amount of tough love. Not really a Jean Grey though. •Hynden Walch: In your face cheerleader •Eva Kaminsky: Not enough dialog to form oppion. •Tara Strong: Might do better for a Jubilee. •The Rest: Pretty good.
