Comparing tire sizes! 285s VS 33s VS 35s | NOT what I was expecting

You should mount them to specified width rim and pump to specified psi like 35-45 and measure again thank me later

Never even considered weight of all the oversize tires I have had. Always blindsided by height and aggressiveness but being older being more aware of tire effect on normal everyday street driving.....thinking 285/70/17 or 285/75/17 is what I'm sticking with in my world as acceleration, braking, responsiveness and, gas milage play more of a factor now than running even a 35 after seeing that weight difference

Measurements are wrong because online they all say inflated hight and width, besides not many brands are true to size but some are damn close, nitto and toyos are pretty close

285/70r17 is a 32.7” tire, 285/75r16 is a 32.8” tire, 285/75/17 is a 33.8” tire
