In Germany .... I mainly order online from Ktown4u, Makestar Or Mymusictaste. But we finally have a few more stores nowadays here. Saturn (which is an Electronic Devices store all around Germany, but not every of their stores carry kpop albums) - but they're really expensive most of the time We have Daebak in Frankfurt, J-Store in Hamburg, Neotokyo und Berlin and Munich and Idol.Byeol in Dusseldorf Since I'm living closest to Dusseldorf idol.byeol Was my Go-To Store pre-Covid Out of all Options Neotokyo is the cheapest one And J-store delivers the fastest I like to order online from both of them

I have tried most of these stores at one point or another and my current go-to store is EvePink. When I first started buying albums it was mostly BTS & SVT and I got them on Amazon because I didn't know anywhere else. Once I realized there were other much cheaper places, I stopped that and switched to Choice Music for quite a while. For them and Music Plaza, whether its because they're more popular stores or they don't have enough staff to fulfill the high amount of orders, idk but I stopped buying from both of them because it would take them literally a month to ship one album sometimes. I live on the east coast, it shouldn't take a month to get to me when its still in the same country. I buy from EvePink because they're always super fast. They ship like the day after the album releases and I receive it within a week with very secure packaging. I've never gotten anything damaged. Texas is way closer to me as well. I also love that they have preorder cards! (more frequently now) They always get Apple Music pobs for Ateez so I get those, and they even had Weverse pobs for the BTS Essential Ed (which was nice because I don't like ordering on the Weverse app) They do lots of other groups too, currently there's holo pobs for Day6 and selfie pobs for Astro. You just have to check their announcements on Instagram. But yeah, they might be slightly more expensive because they're new, but I think the extra couple dollars is worth it for fast shipping, great customer service, and POBs. As far as customer service, they are great at communication. Whenever there is a delay in production of an album or they will have a shipping delay, they always send out emails and let you know what's going on. Once, I saw that an album would be delayed because people were talking about it on twitter, but I had ordered it from Music Plaza and they never told me anything. Just shipped it a month later when they got it. That was fine i guess, but i like to know what's going on. Plus, I ordered a few preorders together once since they were releasing around the same time and one of them was Victon's 1st full album. When it was announced that that would be delayed like 2 months, EvePink helped me switch to 2 separate orders so I didn't have to wait for my entire order to be together. Idk I've just had great experiences with them and I will continue to support them. (PS they have cute Evie mascot stickers that they change every month for freebies and I enjoy getting those too)

An important thing to note is it’s important to do your own research depending on what album you get. For example one comeback could mean the choice music album is cheapest then then next one Amazon is the cheapest. It really is case by case so don’t assume ALL comebacks will be the cheapest from using a certain store!

just a heads up for people preodering albums from us shops, they usually have to get the albums shipped from Korea to their store and then ship to you so it will take like 10 days-ish after it's realeased to get to you! Ordering from Korean sites is usually quicker

Note for Canadian kpop fans: even though we're really close to the US, the US kpop stores are EXTRAORDINARILY expensive to buy from here. Legit would have cost me over $100 CAD to get a single dreamcatcher album

@@helened7674 I've found that ktown4u tends to be the cheapest (at least to Toronto), and Sarah and Tom is a Canadian store that has multiple locations and ships across Canada! Hope this helps :)

I live in NYC and there's two kpop stores in Manhattan, Mandu Apparel and Koryo Books. Mandu is very small and doesn't have a lot of variety but they're pretty cheap and usually give you freebies, on the other hand, Koryo Books has a lot of albums, old and new, but they're usually VERY expensive. Also Mandu has an online store, Koryo doesn't.

Kpopusa is the cheapest us store that I’ve bought from, even then I only buy from there if aladin doesn’t have the album I wanted given that their dhl shipping is MUCH cheaper than Ktown4u and the price per album is overall cheaper than purchasing from us stores. Target’s buy 2 get 1 sale is the only reason I buy from there as the albums end up being super cheap but the limited selection makes it difficult to decide what albums are worth it. If I do end up moving to SoCal I’d love to have the experience of purchasing albums in person with the 500 stores that are in la

honestly, i used to order from choice music la & have been in store visiting California but my problem with them is the fact they take super long to ship out albums AND their staff’s attitudes. they honestly handle things super unprofessionally, shaming people for asking about their albums or whatever & being super passive aggressive towards people or blocking people. they also literally take WEEKS to ship things out and aren’t very good at communicating about it.

Kave Square is a good place to buy albums from, though it's kind of hit or miss how quickly you get albums when they're first released. If they're already in stock, they're super fast! And they sometimes have pre-order cards!

Target doesn’t carry everyone so don’t even bother, plus their release dates aren’t always the same as the Korean dates (ie. Enhypen’s new album doesn’t come out until May at Target instead of this month). Amazon be careful because they inflate the prices a lot. SubK shop the prices are more expensive, usually $21+ (but sometimes not as you saw in the video, depends on album). Just heard about EvePink never shopped there, same with Music Plaza and Choice. Store that wasn’t mentioned that’s usually good is KpopUSA, they’re based in Las Vegas. Prices are decent (19.99 and under usually), shipping is usually $4.

If anyone is located in Southern California, the cheapest store I’ve ever found is called K Place in Buena Park. I compared an album between there, K-Pop music town at the same mall, music plaza and choice and k-place was the cheapest one! There is a store that opened in October and it’s called “K-Star Music LA” which is in Korea town in City Center on the 2nd floor. They sell really cute stationaries and really good pricing in album. I really do recommend them the place is so bright.

I started to nearly exclusively order my albums through GOs. Only in case I don’t care about any kind of PoB I order through one of the German kpop stores (even though albums have become quite expensive since Rona is a thing). Starting from july when the new german import law becomes valid it will not be useful for a single person to order albums just by oneself, so I already prepare myself by ordering through GOs 😅

in my experience (which is limited lol) music plaza is occasionally a dollar more (preorder) but their shipping is usually low (i buy two or three albums when i shop there). buying older or popular albums is hard if it’s not preorder since shipping is consistently low and everyone is a collector😭 choice music is great but when u add a few things shipping can go up unexpectedly. for example i bought momoland’s single album starry night and the boyz reveal pc set (~$14 each) but shipping was like $15😭 while i expected to pay $34 i paid around $40 so🗿 it’s all case by case so it’s nice to have a few options when shopping at a us store! i like music plaza’s freebies. they’re very cute stickers of groups u have in ur wishlist or bought in the past!! i liked this video a lot thank u❤️

the only thing I don't like about Choice Music is that they aren't the fastest shipping out preorder albums. I've had albums where I had to wait 2-3 weeks after it was released to get it shipped to me. I usually go with Kpop Music Town LA and they've shipped out within a week of the preorder ending, they have relatively the same shipping price as Choice!

i might be wrong but i think that choice music stepped up their shipping time cuz they used to be slower than subk with shipping at least during covid but i recently bought my izone lightstick from them last week and it came in 3 days (i live 2 hours away)

if you're in the toronto area there's a store called "sarah and tom" they have 2 locations... but i don't think they have an online store for now.
