For the femometer app, they've updated the LH test camera feature to be able to upload pictures from your gallery and you can enlarge the viewfinder in order to take pictures of your tests easier. Just so everyone knows.

Another thing with the femometer. The app keeps track of how full the battery is and has alerted me when it has gotten low. Which is nice I think since it's just a regular battery. I just learned that it will kind of teach you how to use your thermometer. They just recently updated the app again, so I think its easier to use now than it was when I first got it. It seems similar to Glow now. Plus it's kind of cool that you get points for doing different things on the app and those points can add up to eventually earn enough points towards products like replacement batteries.

Hi, can you share the reasons why the accuracy of the femometer is so bad please? In your video you just say it is. With no explenation. I don’t understand. Does it measure the temperature incorrectly? Or are the conclusions wrong? If so, for how long did you use it? Thank you!
@junjiewang42695 жыл бұрын
I’ve been using the app and the thermometer for a long time and i really like it because it synchronised with the phone and you don’t even have to open your eyes or do anything while taking your temperature. It’s also pretty accurate.

Hi! For me Femometer has been very accurate. I track CM, BBT and do OPK and Femometer was really accurate. I am not sure why you say that it isnT' good. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? :( I don't use Femometer alone, I also use GLOW and their algorithms were very similar.

Just so everyone knows. Femometer has a second generation that has a screen display outside now. I've been using it for a while it's really awesome and accurate and I've never lost my data! (which is very important, otherwise what's the point to use these fancy thermometers right?) Also the company also has products like ovulating testing and pregnancy testing kit that are perfect for women TTC

You should do a review with the Vinca II of thermometer. You can choose the speed of the reading and also have a little screen to see it right away!

Hello! I wanted to update everyone on the Femometer. Some of the points that Ingefleur makes have been improved by the company!! I bought the Vinca Femometer in May 2020. The beeping sound can be adjusted from high to medium to low. (I originally had it on low, but it was so low I couldn't hear it!). Also, you can check the battery on the App when the Femometer is connected. Just go to device settings! I'm not sure about the location services/GPS point that she makes. The app never asked me for that... The picture taking of OPKs in the app I think has improved. It's still tricky to get it right in the correct spot.... I don't rely on their conclusions of how much LH, however you can upload a photo and/or manually record how much LH was present. Also, now it's very easy to exclude or include information that you put into the app and I've never been asked to update it (yet). I manually updated it in device settings, though, because now you can switch between how long the Femometer takes your temp! You can choose Fast, Normal or Mercury. I will say that I LOVE the Kindara app because of the community there. You can share your chart and look at other people's charts. It's very uplifting and positive! (premium feature only). I would also like to know what exactly is wrong with Femometer's analysis. It's very in-depth... but this month it was spot on for me. (It really goes by your BBT). I'd be interested to hear any other perspectives of it's analysis. One more thing that I love about the Femometer app is that with the premium membership ($9.99 per month or $16.99 for 3 months) you can connect a partner account. So now it doesn't have to be just me telling my husband when it's time, we are in this together so he now has the information at his fingertips! I hope this helps! Right now you can buy the same Femometer I bought at Amazon for $35.99 w/ Prime! I'll link it (P.S. I am not at all affiliated with Femometer, just a woman doing a ton of research to try and get pregnant in her 30s!) www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XRZY7KM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

That's really helpful!!! Can I ask you if is a must have to do the premium on the app or if is ok to just keep track of the temp? Tryng to avoid pregnancy in my case.. Looked online and the femometer look really good.

I don’t know if this is outdated review or your Wink is defective. Mine has never lost temps and uploads them to my iPhone without effort other than my iPhone being on and the wink recently opened. For uploading and data I would totally give it a 5/5 compared to other fertility devices. Wondering if it’s your phone and that’s likely something I wouldn’t know because I am am Iphone loyalist. Also I have added toggles for a ton of additional info WITHOUT premium upgrade. I track mood, ovulation pain, sickness and all kinds of stuff I even have adorable Emoji’s. I tried a few other fertility apps and hated them. 😬 I was curious about the cheaper options but have used and adored my Wink since they were released. I will for sure be purchasing another when it finally dies on me.

The ease of use is mangeable for the price pint difference. Granted, my femometer battery went dead and it was new, took me a few days to trouble shoot, but now I know to have spare batteries. BTW, it didn’t just go dead in retrospect. They were warning signs that I now know to read.

Hi. Super cute video. Thanks for posting. I am a Kindara Wink fan, have been since I learned they were developing it YEARS ago. I have a friend that I am trying to help with charting. She has irregular cycles, is a tired teacher most days, and wants to easily sync her temperatures to phone charting. I SO BADLY want her to have a Wink, but as you know, they stopped production due to an essential part no longer being available. In your opinion, is the femometer a good enough option for her as long as she has assistance with chart reading?

I’m a user of fememeter, to be honest, I could hardly agree with you. Some points are not true actually and you even scored 0 for the accuracy of femometer which is obviously bullshit because I truly got pregnant thanks to the femometer and the app is also great, easy to record, kind reminder and tips, helps me to understand my fertility better. Also, the LH test photograph thing is not what you said, it's so easy to use, the instructions clearly teach you how to proceed, and it’s available to enter full screen mode if you can’t focus well. Anyway, I’m a huge fan of femometer and I will recommend it to all "trying to conceive” women to get one!!!

@@FertilityHomeopath Okay, I was wondering because I took my temp with my femometer while fully awake expecting to see that my waking temp was around 98 and it has been 97 or even 96. Then I compared to a fever thermometer which told me my waking temp was 98... So I've become concerned that the femometer temperature readings aren't accurate.
@FertilityHomeopath5 жыл бұрын
@@corinnedabreau209 ah yes that makes sense. Of course a regular thermometer will be very different, but I agree that's a big difference! Maybe you can buy a cheap BBT thermometer and compare the temperatures there...? The most important though is that you see a pattern pre- and post-ovulation. If you are seeing that with Femometer you are likely ok. I myself don't use it anymore though nor do I recommend it to others. I wish it were different!
